Feeling guilty for Allah is a pleasant sign
as it shows that the root in your heart
is awaiting to grow, grab the nutrients
so that the process can start as the heart
has been starving for too long alone
Words of Quran spoken out loud
here for the heart, mind and the soul,
brought down from the sky just like the rain
so that both yours and mine
can be brought away from the cold
Ayats sent to Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم
brought to him as it was his mission
to spread the word of Islam
as Allah saw our Prophet as the one
to spread and convey this message
Now all that religion has come to is
the basics which is turning into tradition,
as we didn't envision the words that Allah
sent, isn't it time to learn about His words
and what they truly meant

أَلَمْ يَأْنِ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَن تَخْشَعَ قُلُوبُهُمْ لِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وَمَا نَزَلَ مِنَ الْحَقِّ وَلَا يَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ مِن قَبْلُ فَطَالَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْأَمَدُ فَقَسَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَكَثِيرٌ مِّنْهُمْ فَاسِقُونَ
Has not the time yet come for those who believe that their hearts should be humble for the remembrance of Allah and what has come down of the truth? And that they should not be like those who were given the Book before, but the time became prolonged to them, so their hearts hardened, and most of them are transgressors
