You walk onto the BAU floor with Spencer and call everyone into the conference room.

Spencer begins explaining what Detective Green said. After he is finished, Spencer motions to you to continue to describe the recent findings.

"Over the past six years, they have found three more bodies in the lake, all bodies of prostitutes, and all clothes in long white dresses." You say handing out the pictures to the group.

"The same method as the previous kills Jason Ashley has been accused for." Rossi chimes in

"Exactly, so this brings a few questions, was the wrong man caught, or is this a copy cat?"

"Or was it a team effort" Hotch adds

"What we have found odd, is it does not seem like the river is the main focus in this situation, the unsub has taken high risk victims, prostitutes, but his burial location has changed from the river to the lake, it seems like it's more the significance of the water not the river itself" Spencer says as he continues to explain the case.

The day goes by as everyone continues to examine the case.

"Great information everyone, I want you all to head home for the night it is late and we need to be well-rested to work on this case, I will see you all tomorrow morning at 7am" Hotch says as he picks up his bag to leave

The rest of the team says their goodbyes as they walk out of the conference room. You head to your desk to pack up your things and hear Derek's voice from behind you

"Hey smart one, you and pretty boy work together nicely, you make a good team," he says with a smile and a wink as he picks up your bag off the floor.

"Well, you guys are all great to work with" You take your bag from Derek, and you both begin to walk out the front door, as you are leaving, Derek trips and walks right into the frosted glass BAU doors.

"Damnit" Derek yells out as he begins to rub his sore arm.

"Aww princess, you hurt?" You say, laughing checking his arm

"Princess?" Derek says laughing

You shrug innocently and walk away

"No no no, when I said you could come up with a nickname, I meant something, well you know cool, Derek Morgan worthy." Derek says laughing as he walks to catch up with you

"Are you saying my name choice is not worthy for you princess" You laugh as the elevator doors close

"It has stuck hasn't it? There's nothing I can do about it now," He says as he dramatically waves his hands. You laugh together as you walk out of the building and to your cars. You wave goodbye to each other and head to your apartment.

You pull up to your building and unlock your door, kick off your shoes and put your bag down. Heading directly to the fridge after a long but exciting first few days and grab some leftover stir-fry. You sit down and turn on Netflix as you are looking for a movie you hear your phone buzz on the armrest next to you. It's from Spencer, you smile at your phone as you read the message

Hey y/n it's Spencer, like from work, I didn't get to tell you before you left that you did a great job today. I know you're nervous about your first few days, but don't worry, you did well.

You smile and think how sweet it was for him to message you, he didn't have to do that, although he is probably just being a good co-worker. You begin to type back

Hey Spencer, thank you, it was great working with you to catch everyone up on the case. You could tell I was nervous? I thought we were not supposed to profile each other : )

It's not profiling it's just I can read your body language, maybe something you should work on.

"Something I should work on? Was it really that obvious" you say out loud to yourself, feeling slightly embarrassed.

Spencer sends another message

That was a joke, maybe I was profiling you a bit.

You laugh feeling slightly less awkward

I guess it is our job, it's hard to stop, especially when it is someone you don't know very well. But thank you for the kind words, I hope you have a wonderful night.

Your phone buzzes again

I'll stop when I know you a bit better. And thanks, you too, see you tomorrow

You blush a bit reading Spencer's words. You watch a few episodes of your favourite comfort show and decide to head to bed, you have a long day ahead of you tomorrow.
