Chapter 29

The day had finally come, it was your wedding. The girls had helped you pick out the most beautiful dress for your special day. You couldn't believe you were finally marrying Spencer, the smile never left your face the entire morning. Putting the last few touches onto your makeup you step into your dress and zip it up. You smile at your reflection in the mirror and become excited for what Spencer will say when he sees you. Taking a deep breath, you open the door and step out to see the girls awaiting your reveal

Their jaws drop

"Wow" they say in unison

Penelope begins to tear up grabbing a tissue so she doesn't ruin her makeup

"Don't make me cry" you laugh tears forming in your eyes waving a finger at her

"I'm just so happy for you" The girls all give you a big group hug

"You ready to marry Spencer Reid" Emily says

"I've never been more ready"

"Aunty y/n you look like a princess" Jack says running up to you and giving you a hug

"And you look like a prince"

Jack and Henry begin their walk down the aisle. Next is JJ paired with Rossi, Emily paired with Hotch and Penelope paired with Derek.

It's your turn, you walk into the doorway and catch Spencer's eyes right away. He looks so happy, you see his bottom lip quiver trying to hold in his tears, but they begin to roll down his face. The look of awe he has on his face makes you blush. Your eyes do not leave each other's gaze. Making it to Spencer everyone in the room seems to disappear. He holds your hands.

The officiant begins...

"The couple has prepared vows"

"Y/n I have spent my time up until now learning everything I can, I feel that I pick up on things pretty quickly... but you I want to know slowly, I want to spend the rest of my life getting to know you. I used to think that love was just surges of dopamine in the brain helping us feel pleasure and reward... while it is that... technically... you have shown me what love truly looks like. Supporting each other in desperate times, needing each other so intensely we feel like we are missing half of ourselves when the other person is gone. I am thankful everyday that I have you to love and that you have chosen to love me" As spencer speaks his vows he doesn't break eye contact, you both begin to cry and smile at each other

"Spencer, who knew that the boy genius Dr. Spencer Reid who memorizes bakery menus, and knows random facts about Charles Dickens riding the bus, would become the love of my life and the person I can't live without. Our movie nights and time that we spend laughing, the way we sit and read books together, that is what I love about us. How we promised no matter how big or small the problem was we would always confide in each other, knowing that we are safe together. Spencer I chose you yesterday, I choose you today, and I will continue to choose and love you for the rest of our lives'' You wipe a tear away from his eye and he squeezes your hand with anticipation of what is coming next.

"The Rings"

Jack walks up and holds up the rings for you to take.

Exchanging rings with Spencer felt right, everything was wonderful, but the man standing in front of you was perfect.

"You may now kiss one another"
Spencer grabs your face and pulls you in tightly kissing you passionately, without a care for who is watching.

"Congratulations to the new married couple"

The both of you walk out hand in hand and go to the wedding venue.

Everyone spends the night drinking, dancing and celebrating love

The night comes to an end. You and Spencer are eager to spend some time together. The both of you decided to honeymoon in Italy for a week, excited to walk the romantic streets and see the history.

Stumbling back into the beautiful hotel room Spencer booked for you he pulls back from kissing you and says
"Can you believe we're married"

"Yes... but it feels like a i dream. I'm so happy"

"You look stunning, I love your dress... but... I think I would like it off" He smirks and places his face into your neck. Shivers are sent down your body. You run your hands through his hair and he breathes deep into you.

"My wife, I love you, so much, this is the happiest day of my life, I am so excited to spend our lives together, you are perfect, I can't believe i have you with me" Spencer wraps his arms around you

"Dr. Reid, my husband, you talk too much" you bite your lip pulling him into you
