chapter 2

*Bryans POV*

Then i heard his laugh... i jumped a little when i heard it, the others were shouting saying they needed to protect the child no matter the cost- i continued healing inpu, artemis sat down on my lap, i held him close while the others were scouting the area, mario and xylo stayed behind to protect us in case he tricked us, we know the seductive rose longer then today, as i was done healing inpu i picked up artemis, i knew the seductive rose was after me not the others, i have no idea how it has returned but... i know its targets, i gave artemis a kiss on his fore head and handed him to xylo, "protect them" i said and ran out the door, i folded out my wings and flew into the air, it didnt take long for me to spot him,

kay and the others were currently fighting it, i cant use my soul crystal this time- one hit on it and it would be over for me... i flew closer to them and casted a attack, i decided to use my light beam for it since its good for distanced fights, i actually hit him but he immediatly turned to me and flew towards me, the others shouted at me to get out of there, but i flew towards it anyways, it took out his sword so i did the same, as we almost collided i flew a little lower to dodge his attack, sadly my plan failed they hit my wing and i sliced his chest, i dropped to the ground with a high speed, their was a huge dust cloud coming from the place i fell to the ground, sadly i couldnt catch myself with my wings- now i took a lot of damage.. the others ran towards me as i stood up and walked on to the path, i hit my arm and wing pretty badly on the ground, luckly it wasnt my legs nor head, kay asked me if i was alright, i nodded and turned around,

the seductive rose had landed on kays roof, "ill be back" it said, i guess i hit it harder then i though, they flew off without laughing for once, i walked back to the house holding my arm, dang it i really have to heal it up i thought, kay helped me walk home, man it hurts T^T, as we walk into the house we see inpu had awoken, but artemis was asleep now- i guess the little dude had been crying too much, poor thing... inpu walks up to me and picks me up, "inpu- put me down im fine-" i told him "no ur not now lay down and stay down untill kay heals ur wounds" inpu said i mumbled and he chuckled about it, he layed me down on the bed and walked over to artemis.

After a while kay had healed up my wounds so i stood up thanked kay and the others for their help and walked over to inpu, he was petting artemis as he was asleep, i sat down next to him and leaned on to his shoulder, "its not save for him here anymore now that he is back..." inpu said, "what do you suggest doing then? We cant send him to you're dad since hes ya know- dead- sorry mr. Anubis btw- and my mom is always buisy so they cant watch over him either, and i dont know anyone that could... it was quiet after that for a while, the others were just watching us from a distance i guess they were worried about it too- "maybe a human realm? One he wont stand out from the rest-" inpu said, "isnt that too dangerous and too risky?" I said-

"i mean he might not grow up with his parents but that doesnt mean he is less our son and less perfect-" inpu noted, "true... but what human realm had magic?" I asked, inpu thought about it for a while but then said "leave that to me dear" and kissed my cheeck, i looked at artemis and picked him up, my smal baby- he doesnt deserve to grow up in fear... so i agreed with inpu, he deserves to grow up in a save place, "ill help inpu find a save realm" xylo said, "me too" magnus noted, i nodded, "ill take care of artemis then till u found a place for him" i said, they nodded and left a few minutes after-

Artemis woke up 30 minutes after inpu, magnus and xylo had left, he was playing with my hair until i was ready to tell him he was not going to se eus for a while, "hey arty?" I said, "yes mommy?" Arty said while climbing down from my back, "well you mommy went outside right? And the person that was fighting daddy?" He nodded and sat down on my lap, "well that person is very dangerous... mommy and daddy are scared hes gonna come after you..." i told him, "but you can defeat him right mommy?" Artemis said, "no hun- last time i fought him he weakend me a lot- i dont have enough strength to fight him off again.." i say slowly and quietly.. artemis stayed silent and listened to me, "daddy and i have decided to send you to a safer place for a while..." i looked at artemis and saw tears appear in his eyes- i knew what was coming- artemis had since he was younger that he didnt want to be left alone- thats why inpu and i never got to do anything with the 2 of us when he was born, so as espected he started crying and saying he didnt want inpu and me to leave him...

"honey- we will come and get you when its save again- this is only temporarly to make sure u dont get hurt..." he hugged me and he said he wouldnt let go- i looked behind me with tears in my eyes, the others were looking sad about it too- bri walked up to me and sat on the floor, she tapped on artemis shoulder and artemis looked at her with teary eyes, she signed with her arms for a hug, he doubted for a second but then gave her a hug, i stood up from my chair and walked outside for a second, artemis was distracted so he wouldnt notice i was gone for a second- i walked to the beach and sat down on the sand, the son was going down and it looked beautiful in the reflection of the sea, i started crying and closed my eyes, i sat there for a while listening to the sound of waves, it calmed me down quickly.

Later on i heard someone sit down next to me, i opened my eyes and looked who it was, inpu was sitting next to me staring into my eyes, he was back quickly... i had hoped we had more time before we send him away... he hugged me and said "we found a good place for him to stay at- its save and he will fit in with the rest" i nodded on his chest, "its a world with things they call quirks- its a kind of superpower and they can have multiple, so they wont stand out because of his developing powers" i looked up to him and smiled, "good he wont have trouble with that- still something to remember us by..." i smiled, "well dear- we do have to erase his memories- i mean before he accidently tells someone.. its best to take away his ears, wings, tail and memories for now.." i got quiet and thought about it for a while..

I nodded and agreed, you're right dear... "xylo and magnus will be bringing him there tonight" he said, i modded and stood up, "better say bye to our angel before hes gonna be gone for a while.." inpu nodded and walked after bryan to kays house, as they got in they found artemis crying because he noticed they were gone- "bryan take him- i cant take it anymore-" bri said, i walked up to her and picked up artemis which stopped crying as he saw us, i chuckled and hugged him, he had his hair infront of his eyes so i put it behind his ear, inpu walked up to me and hugged artemis and gave him a kiss... "you tired?" He asked artrmis, he nodded and yawned, i laughed and faked a smile, inou grabbed artemis and brought him to bed, later he came back saying he was asleep and that he had erased his memories and took away his ears, tail and wings, xylo nodded and walked into the room artemis was in, i hugged inpu eith tears in my eyes, the others felt bad for us..

Xylo came back with sleeping artemis in his arms, he looked so peaceful.. he nodded and then walked outside magnus just ran after them, after they left i bursted into tears.. inpu sat me on the floor and hugged me, my face was currently buried in his chest... he smiled and put his chin on my head, the others looked at us worried, they were sad they couldny help us through this, after a few minutes of crying and sobbing i fell asleep in his arms, he noticed and smiled
"it will be alright dear"
He said....
