Maids were busy preparing, pacing around his room, and he was getting dizzy from watching them.

"He should wear this!"

"No, it should be the blue one! Blue suits him better!"

"Let's just make him wear the purple one. It matches his eyes, doesn't it?"

"Just pick the white one. It clearly suits him better!"

"No, the black one! On second thought, nevermind-"

"Wait, should we also make him wear a cape?"

"Ooh, that's a great idea!"

"Then it should be the blue one!"

"Nah, it should be red!"

"Red doesn't match him! It should be white!"

"Black!"

"Purple!"

'...'

"I'll just wear white, please."

And so, the maids finally stopped and began dressing him up, and styling his hair.

And so, after an hour or two, he stood up and looked at the mirror, as maids began complimenting him.

"Ah, we managed to pull it off!" A maid huffed and wiped the sweat on her forehead using the sleeve of her clothing.

"He looks much more elegant and dignified now, doesn't he?" Another maid gushed.

"He grows up so fast!" Another one cried, pulling a handkerchief out of nowhere and began blowing on it.

"But wouldn't blue still look better on him?"

'Not again, please.'

The place was lively, classical music playing as nobles chatted.

After the duke had appeared, the music died down, and the chattering had stopped.

Nobles watched as the duke presented his son, waiting to see if the rumors were true or not.

Since the duke had often hid his son, many speculated that the he must be ugly.

'Ah, they're staring.' Adonis thought, but he wasn't nervous.

He's already used to being stared at, compared to the malicious looks he got in his past life, these judging stares were nothing.

He remained calm and collected, keeping his chin up.

He was the epitome of beauty, short white hair sweeping over jewel purple eyes, an inherited trait of the Velandro bloodline.

He had pale white skin, that some wondered if it would bruise if they touched it.

He looked frail that they began imagining him as a small, white bunny, but maybe a swan would suit him better when every action he made was full of elegance.

Many gushed at his appearance, both genders captivated by his beauty.

What ugly orc? If a beauty like him is an orc, then what are they?!

'Damned wolves. Stop staring at my son!' Alastair thought. He was irked hearing these people call his precious, lovely, beautiful, elegant, graceful, exquisite, heavenly, divine son an ugly, hideous orc!

They dare!

Lolanthe and Celia was no better.

'Assholes, you think I haven't heard you people calling him unsightly?' Lolanthe blasted at them in her heart, but kept a friendly look on the outside.

'Ha, thinking of marrying my son? In your dreams!' Celia thought, squinting her eyes a little as a tick mark appeared on her head.

After doing a formal greeting and talking to all the nobles that attended, he returned to his parent's side and rested.

'I never knew I could talk so much in my entire life, the life of a noble sure is hard.'

She stopped in her tracks, a hand coming up to her head.

'What's up with this sudden headache?'

Memories began playing inside her head like a movie, and an instant realization hit her.

She once was Koharu Sato, a 30-year old female living a plain life.

Working as an employee for a small company, she earned a decent amount of money, although it wasn't exactly enough to support all her daily expenses so she had to take up some part time jobs.

One night when she was about to go home after finishing her part time job, she accidentally saw a woman being killed, and the killer just had to see her, unfortunately.

And as a result, she was knocked out by the killer and thrown off into a body of water, and ultimately died of drowning.

'Okay, so let's stay calm, and sort everything out. You can do it, Koharu!'

'So, I died, got reborn as the villainess, got memories of my past life this late, and now it's too late to try and avoid the plot.'

'...And now I also have a brother to protect. Yeah, sounds just about right.'

Lolanthe couldn't help but sigh. Her brother was such an innocent bun.

'I need to stay on everybody's good side, there's no point in avoiding them. I've already seen many fail.'

She began reminiscing the books she once read.

'Yeah, there's really no point in avoiding it. I also can't just suddenly change personalities, not when I'm known to be an elegant lady or I might as well become the laughing stock of nobility.'

'I should probably go back to the ballroom now, they might worry.'
