Jaune sat up from his fire as the sun began to rise, along with the temperature. He slowly descended down the large sand mountain he had scaled the night prior, and continued to venture further and further into the desert.

Where do we go now?

Forward, there has to be something in this endless desert

What makes you so sure?

just a feeling, how are we looking on food?

One steak, but there's bound to be some animals around here somewhere.

Sure enough, Jaune spotted a small rabbit prancing in the plains of the desert. He quickly jumped down, careful to not startle what might be his only chance at some more food.

How do we get it? We have no ranged weapons

What do we have?

Jaune checked his inventory, a stone sword, pickaxe and axe was all he had.

We need to throw something

how about the sword? we don't need it for anything we can't use the axe for.

Jaune took his sword out, carefully crawling towards the unsuspecting rabbit. As he got closer, the rabbit turned its head, noticing its predator. It attempted to make a break for it, only for Jaune to throw his sword at it. The blade pierced the small animals hide, sending it to the ground in a puff of smoke. In its place was jaunes sword, a rabbit hide and some raw rabbit meat

That's it? A tiny piece of meat?

Better than nothing

Jaune laughed at himself as he recovered his sword

Jaune: where the hell was that at beacon?

At the mention of his old school, his mind went back into overdrive. Since he had arrived in this new world he had forgotten about his beacon troubles.

How would everyone react?

They would probably be happy that the liar was gone.

Did pyhhra tell anyone?

Why wouldn't she? You betrayed her trust, all of their trust

What about Cardin?

He definitely told everyone, and slandered your name some more for good measure.

Jaunes mind slowly fell further and further into despair, with him overthinking every single one of the possible outcomes.

SNAP OUT OF IT!

They hate you, they hate you

The past is in the past

You betrayed all of their trust

We did what we had to do

They were your friends, and you lied to them all

We don't even know if Pyyhra told them!

She most likely did

But she might not have!

Jaunes inner battle was cut short by him falling down a sandy slope. He stood up and dusted himself off, taking a look around. At least now he could provide himself with a distraction from his own inner Demons.

He looked around, nothing out of the ordinary for a desert. Sand, cactus, orange stone, more sand- wait what?

Jaune did a double take and saw what looked to be some orange looking stones, but it was impossible to tell from this far away

We should at least check it out

Anything is better then aimlessly wandering

As he grew nearer, he saw what looked to be a more of that orange stone, and some stone made of the sand around him. It was Cleary not natural, with there being patterns Cleary defined in the stone.

What is it?

Looks like just stone

Jaune noticed The sandstone went upwards to a stoping point, like a pyramid.

Go to the top maybe?

Worth a shot

Jaune climbed to the top of the strange structure, and saw an opening into a strange inside.

Should w-

Yes, yes we should

Jaune jumped down the opening, landing in the center of what looked to be a Temple of sorts.

What is this place?

No clue

Surrounding Jaune was multiple different paths of blue stone, leading to a center symbol of the same stone. There were multiple Collums of sandstone, which seemed to be keeping this strange structure up.

Should we check the book?

No point, there's nothing on temples in there

Jaune decided to just check the book just in case, and was shocked as he looked at the chapters. Along with the previous chapters, there was a brand new one

Ancient structures

what the hell?

The book, updated?

Jaune opened the book to the new chapter, and began to read

There are ancient structures in almost every biome that I have found, here they are.

Sand temples

Jungle temples

Strongholds

Nether fortress

Igloos

So this isn't the only one of these places

Check if they have any more info on these "desert temples"

Desert temples
These temples seem to be placed that this by gone civilization stored there riches. Their is 4 chests filled with a variety of riches and other items at the center of the pattern. But beware, for there is quite a fall to the chests, as well as a pressure plate activated tnt trap

Riches? Ok this is good

Break the pattern

Jaune broke the center of the pattern, seeing a latge fall to a pressure plate and some chests.

What now?

Mine down the sides, then break the pressure plate

Jaune stood at the edge of the pattern and begun to mine down the side of the casm bellow. As he got closer to the bottom he released just how fucked he might be

One wrong move, and we die

Don't mess up

Jaune slowly reached out to the pressure plate, he brought his pickaxe down and broke the pressure plate. He jumped down and opened the first chest

Some bones and string

Great....

Jaune opened the second chest

More string and a saddle

Now we can ride horses!

Hurray.

He opened the fourth chest

Rotten flesh and more bones, nice

He then approached the last chest

There better be something good in here

He opened it, some bones, string, and one more item.

A glowing apple seemingly made of gold

An enchanted golden apple
