"I'm sorry that you had to find out like this, I-"

Anthony immediately hangs up the phone, before letting his dad get another word in.

"Hey." Eric says, as lets himself in walking into his room. He notices that Anthony's barely making any eye contact with him.

"Are you okay?" Eric asked him with worried eyes.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Eric already knew he was lying.

"No, you're not. I know something's bothering you. Do you wanna talk about it?" He starts to get a little concerned.

Anthony sighed, "Not right now...maybe later." Eric notices that he's shrugging it off, but he doesn't want to push it. It would be wrong for him to keep pressing him about this manner.

"I'm here if you need me, okay? I'll see you at soundcheck. I love you." Eric said smiling, giving him a quick peck on the lips before leaving. Anthony couldn't help but feel more guilty than he already has. He loved how he can talked to Eric about anything, because he had a good ear. He was so sweet, understanding, and caring. Eric wouldn't try to let his emotions get the best of him.

After soundcheck was finished, Eric started to notice that Anthony was acting a little distant. He walks over to him to check up on him.

"Babe?" Eric called out to him, which causes to Anthony turn around to face him.

"Oh, hey. What's up?" Anthony said to him.

"Are you alright? You've been avoiding me all day, and I-I feel like I did something wrong."

"Eric, you didn't do anything, okay? I'm just tired, that's all. Trust me, you did nothing wrong." Anthony reassures him, giving him a small smile.

"Okay, okay. I believe you." Eric couldn't help but smile back, cupping his face and leaning in to kiss him. It was a long, chaste kiss that meant passion and desire; this kiss seemed very familiar to him - it was meaningful, filled with love.

"What's that for?" Anthony asked him.

"I love you. You know that, right?" Eric said to him. It reassured Anthony that Eric was always going to be there for him, that they were meant for each other.

"I know you do." Anthony couldn't help but smile back. Eric smiled, stepping a little closer to give him another kiss on the forehead.

Eric (3) missed calls

This was the only thing that Anthony's been getting the last few weeks.

He wants to call Eric back, but he can't find the courage to do so. It's not like he doesn't want to, but since that night, Anthony shut down. His family meant everything to him, and at this point, he wants to fix this, but he doesn't know how.

"Anthony...Anthony, you need to relax. Let's talk about this." Eric said.

"How am I supposed to relax, Eric? My mom's not letting me see you, she thinks you're a bad influence on me!"

"I know, this sucks. I just-," Eric sighs, as he tries to be patient, "I need you to take a deep breath first."

"How could she not like you? She's known you for years and she knows we hang out all the time, Why is she trying to ruin our relationship-"

"I don't think she's doing trying to do that on purpose, Anthony. She's trying to look out for you-" Eric said.

"You don't know that!" Anthony yelled.

"Babe, babe...listen to me. I love you, okay? And I want to help you, I really do. But I can't...if you don't relax," Eric said calmly, walking towards Anthony.

Anthony started to break down in tears, as Eric didn't wait another second to intervene as he walked over to Anthony. He put his hands on his boyfriend's shoulders trying to get him to look up at him, "Hey, look at me."

Anthony looked up at him, with tears in his eyes because he was frustrated. He loved the boy so much that he didn't understand why his mom was so hesitant about him and Eric dating.

"Everything's going to be fine. We'll talk to your mom and see how this goes, okay?" Eric cupped his face, as he reassured him with a smile. Anthony nodded, as Eric smiled back as he leaned down to kiss him.

As Eric pulled away from the kiss, he softly pressed his forehead against Anthony's.
