--TOMMY'S POV--

This is just great, stuck in this room... my new room. I looked up to my ceiling admiring the complex designs running across it. The obnoxiously clean, pretty, and expensive room. Nothing like my old town. The old town was never clean, the old town could never be considered pretty, and anything expensive was destroyed or stolen. The only pretty thing I could remember was the sunset. The sunset that I would see while in the flower fields.

What to do while I wait? This is the first time that I really had time to myself since the attack. I sighed, what I really wanted to do was go running in the fields with Betty. Before I could stop them, tears started to softly flow down my face. I want to see the sunset from the flower fields. I want to hug my mom and let her sing to me. I missed my old town so much. Even if it was trashy and bad. Even if my Dad was terrible. Even if whenever I walked through the town I would hate it. I want to go back.

Tears on my face slowly started to calm when I heard music coming from another room. It wasn't music on a disc, rather it was music being played by someone. It sounded like a guitar, and whoever was playing it was really good. The soft melody was peaceful and soon enough I fell asleep.

I woke up to someone softly shaking me on my back. Even though they were shaking me softly, it still hurt like a bitch. My back was still really soared. I groaned. "Oh good, you finally woke up." It was Phil, he had a wide smile on his face. I slowly got out of bed, stretching and yawning. "Follow me, we're gonna see if you can give us any details on what happened that night. Also here." Phil handed me a pink pot, and it tasted like raspberries as I drank it down. My head immediately felt better, not my back, unfortunately.

I followed him through twisting halls and ended up in front of two large doors. Not as significant as the other ones, but still large. They opened up with a loud creak and it revealed a lot of people sitting patiently in chairs. Oh hell no. What the hell is this? I was tempted to just turn around and leave, but a soft push on my back stopped me. I wanted to scream right there, stop touching me on my back. Phil whispered in my ear "Sorry about this."

I just groaned back an exaggerated "Yea..."

I sat down in a fancy, but comfortable chair. Making sure my back never touched the chair. Which was hard considering my terrible posture. Phil sat down in a chair next to me, it was the chair at the head of the table. I looked across from where I was sitting and saw the two brothers. Techno and Wilbur both waved and I awkwardly returned it. Their faces showed that they were sorry for putting me in this situation, but I didn't accept their stares.

"Thank you all for coming, as you all know, the town closest to the border was attacked. The only survivor is Tommy." Everyone turned their head to me. Though there were probably only 6 people in here, excluding Phil, Techno, and Wilbur. So in total 9 people were now staring at me, not a lot, but it's a lot. Phil continued talking and their eyes went back to him. Thank god!

"Tommy, could you tell us why they spared you, why they planned to kill you last?" Oh great now the eyes are back on me.

My words stumbled out of my mouth, "I went to the fields to watch the sunset with my dog Betty. Normally people do that, but I stayed out much later and somehow managed to start watching the stars." I took a deep breath to keep calm when someone interrupted me.

They had short brown hair, almost bald and he looked fairly annoying. He wore red and blue jewels. "What do you mean you 'somehow managed to start watching the stars?'" What was his problem?
