The doorbell rings and it awakens Beanie making him look up in shock and for Eli to start barking.

A squeal leaves my mouth knowing either Isa or Michi is there and I bolt for the stairs.

Eli runs right behind me and we make our way to the door.

I didn't pay attention and didn't see Mauricio ascending the stairs while I was descending and almost made him fall. My foot slips a step but he catches my arms and says, "Woah there, calm down, what's got you running?"

I immediately apologize and say, Sorry! But my best friends are here! I have to let them in."

He chuckles and says,"Okay but watch your step, you nearly fell down the stairs and then Leo would have my head if he found out you got hurt and then I'd have the whole mafia on my back."

"Wait I have a question, if he is a mafia boss how come I never see his men or any killings?"

He laughs and says, "Because what kind of mafia would make it obvious they are the mafia? The whole point of our job is to stay quiet and secret, we wouldn't want the whole world to know what goes on inside these walls would we now?"

I nod and say, "That actually makes perfect sense. Oh wait my friends!"

I run back down the stairs already changing the subject of our conversation.

He yells, "Walk!"

But do I listen? No.

I race to door and open it to see Isa and she screams and says, "Oh my gosh Kat! You never told me he was this rich! Is he your sugar daddy??"

A laugh leaves my throat and I say, "No Isa."

He is your daddy though my subconscious says.

She says, "I feel like I'm living luxuriously for a day."

I giggle and say, "Yep and you get your own room."

"What! Oh wow I'm living here now, I don't think he'll mind an extra guest."

I roll my eyes and see she has a duffel bad and I ask, "Want to take it upstairs to your room? I kinda figured you'd be here before Michi, he's probably barely leaving the house right now as we speak."

She nods her head and says, "Yup always late to the party."

I giggle and say, "Well follow me I will be your tour guide."

Just then Eli makes himself known by barking at Isa and she awe's while looking down at him and says, "Oh my gosh you're so adorable aren't you cutie."

He responds by jumping up and down and she giggles and looks towards me and asks, "What's they dogs name?"

I smile and say, "Eli, he's Leo's dog and he's still a puppy so he's very energetic but he seems to love people so he's just fine to cooperate with. He's been my best friend this past day really."

She smiles and says, "That's cute, is Eli the reason you're here?"

I smile and pick him up and say, "Yup I'm his caretaker for the time being but I'm fine with it and plus he's starting to warm up to Beanie."

"Right this way," I say as I lead her up the stairs to show her to her room.

I go to the closest one which is the one besides Luca's room and I open the door and say, "Here is your humble abode for the night."

She looks at the room in awe and says, "Oh wow this is very nice."

I smile and say, "And the room I'll be in is right across the hall, the one closest to your right and Michi's will be straight across from yours."
