Because I Love Him

I woke up and didn't feel the pressure of Leo laying on my stomach earlier and frown thinking he's left.

The frown leaves my face when an arm wraps around my waist and I turn to my left to see Leo smiling at me and he says, "You sleep so long like a little baby."

He pushes a piece of hair out of my face and says, "Let's get something to eat."

I nod and stand up and stretch my body feeling well relaxed after napping with Leo.

Leo is by my side and I'm feeling lazy so I whine and say, "Carry me."

He says, "Okay miss bossy pants."

I smile at him and he picks me up and I wrap my legs around his torso and arms around his neck as he holds me like I'm a koala.

He walks out the room and Isa is no where to be seen but I see Luca and Michi having a conversation on the couch.

Upon seeing me Michi looks up and says, "Well look, it seems the two love birds have made up."

I don't respond and only keep my head in the nape of his neck and Luca says, "Finally, they act like they don't need each other but when they aren't they're both sassy and mean."

Leo simply ignores him, something he's good at and, whereas I stick my middle finger up at Luca and he says, "See! Look at her!"

Michi laughs and I stick my tongue out at him and they both go back into conversation.

I look at the way Luca looks at Michi and a smile immediately makes it's way to my face. They'd be so perfect for each other, I won't say anything about them but I hope either an amazing friendship comes out of them or an amazing relationship, either way I'd love it regardless.

Leo's footsteps stop and I feel him pull me off him and put me on the counter.

He asks, "So what are we making bambina?"

I laugh and wrap my arms around his neck and asks, "The mafia leader knows how to cook? I'm shocked."

He looks at me as if I'm crazy and says, "Nope, that's what you're here for, to teach me."

I say, "Well in that case how about we do something simple like some baked chicken and rice with a side of veggies?"

He nods and says, "Sounds good, but if I mess up I'm telling them it was you."

I scoff and say, "Sorry Leo that's not gonna work, everyone knows whatever I cook it comes out tasting like rainbows and unicorns."

He rolls his eyes and says, "Well we'll have to see about that won't we?"

He leaves a kiss on my cheek and I smile and say, "Okay! So I've already got defrosted chicken, it's in the fridge right now so take that out."

1 and a half hours later

I set the plates on the table and making sure Luca and Leo have a plate too.

Cooking with Leo was so fun and hilarious, especially seeing him struggle since he's never cooked before.

Overall he's not too bad though, he's no Gordon Ramsey but he's good enough to make a dinner for a family and friends.

Before I could call anyone to sit at the table and eat, there was a knock on the door.

I look at Michi confused wondering who's at the door since I didn't invite anyone but he only shrugs.

I walk to the door and open in and my eyes widen slightly seeing none other than Isaac.
