Darkness of the night had fallen as the ship arrived at the docks of Odiha located on the southern border of Marley. It was quiet as many of the residents have evacuated likely after learning about the rumbling.
For the duration on the ship, everyone had kept to themselves. Captain Levi was forced to go to the cabins and rest. Falco was beginning to feel the after effects of gaining his new titan power, so he went to lie down, and Gabi went with him.
Y/n asked Mikasa to explain everything that occurred after she had passed out in Shiganshina. Mikasa explained how Falco became the Jaws titan and Connie ran off to feed Falco to his mother, Annie showing up, engaging with the Yeagerists to help the Azumabito escape. Eventually they met up with the Marleylean warriors, their general, and Hange with Captain Levi. They escaped to the dock, but were meet with Floch and the other Yeagerists. A fight broke out as everyone fought against the Yeagerist in attempt to get onto the ship with the Azumabito. They succeeded in escaping to the ship, and the harbor was blown up in the end.
Attached to the back of the ship was a flying boat of Marleyean technology. Y/n was amazed yet frightened by the contraption.
It was a similar feeling to the first time the Survey Corps went on the blimp to infiltrate Marley. She recalls standing in a corner alone gazing out the window at the scenery below. The ocean was a large vast endless blue abyss while the houses and landmarks looked like tiny little toys. Of course she was still nervous being thousands of feet in the air. It was nothing compared to the ODM gear; at least the ODM gear guaranteed she'd land safely on the ground. Eren eventually found her in the corner noticing how nervous she was, and stayed by her side the whole trip trying to ease her nerves.
It was overwhelming to think how the rest of the world is substantially far ahead in technology. Comparing to Paradise island, the island was still using candle light until 4 years ago when the borders had opened to the rest of the world.
The ship had begun to dock at the port of the Marleylean city. Everyone gets off to unload the fuel and ODM gear. Y/n proceeds to help loading the fuel until Jean intervenes. "Your pregnant Y/n, don't over exert yourself." He says in a concerning manner. "Well then what am I supposed to do in the meantime?" Y/n replies annoyed. Jean only shrugs her off and walks away leaving Y/n more aggravated.
Now she is left unsure what to do with her time.
She then remembers the boy she met in Liberio. Falco is here, and now he is the Jaws. I should check on him. Y/n turns back to the ship heading towards the cabins.
"Gabi you don't need to keep babying me. I feel fine!" Y/n hears the voice of Falco coming from down the hall as she heads towards the source. She raises her hand and gently knocks on the door while opening it at the same time. Y/n peers behind the door to see Falco in the bed sitting up while Gabi is standing with her back facing Y/n. There was a third figure sitting on the bed patting Falco's back. Y/n immediately recognizes it to be the Cart titan, Pieck.
"Can I come in?" Y/n asks as she peers behind the door causing all 3 sets of eyes to turn towards her. Falco looked at her with surprise. "Oh Y/n! Yah come in. It's nice to see you again."
Pieck and Gabi look at Falco with confusion which went unnoticed by Y/n. "Falco and I met before in Liberio." Y/n states to the two girls.
"Oh I see." Pieck replies softly. "That was when Eren disguised himself as a wounded solider to find Zeke." The statement sent chills down Y/n's spine as she was reminded of the Liberio raid. "Oh well. From the conversations earlier you had no idea what Eren was doing during that time. I can't really blame you. We are both working towards the same goal with people to save." Pieck adds as she stands up putting her hand on Gabi's shoulder. "C'mon Gabi let's give these two some time to catch up. We'll go find something to eat." She turns her attention back to Y/n. "I will get some food for both of you, maybe extra since you're pregnant Y/n." Pieck gives Y/n a genuine smile, and Y/n nods her head in return. "Right. Thank you Pieck." Pieck and Gabi then take their leave closing the door behind them.
