it was finally the day of the festival, me and tubbo did really well with the decorations he did most of the work though. i just did what he asked like grabbing him materials. and today was finally the day the work pays off, theirs a bunch of games and stuff for us to do. i was currently getting ready, i figured i didnt need to have my armor on since i doubt anything bad will happen but i still had it in my inventory just in case. i wore (insert outfit) an i gotta say im looking hella cute. i let out a dry laugh as i stared into the mirror. after i fixed my hair i decided it was time to gather with everyone at the festival or well, be there in case.

in the past two days i asked dream to give me some pointers on pvp. he says i have to be more offensive and try to loosen up. 'why always play defensive if theirs nothing to protect?' he also said i mean i guess it made sense, my moves where a bit stiff i guess ill have to work on that soon.. "y/n!" i hear a deep voice call out. i was walking along the 'prime path' i heard a few people call it. i turned around to see nikki and eret "hey guys! you excited" i greeted and asked the two eret nodded and so did nikki "we're gonna have a blast with everyone, its good to relax and have fun for once" nikki chuckles "yea! im sorta nervous though, more excited than nervous, ive never been to a festival before." i announce scratching my head. we where almost at manburg by now just a few feet away "trust me youll have a lot of fun y/n" eret hummed i looked over to the announcement stand where schlatt and quackity where "ill see you guys in a bit kay?" i say and jog backwards waiting for a farewell from the two "bye!" "see you"

 they and i turn around and jog to the stand "hello!" i say as i was up behind the two joking around "hey kid! hows everything going" schlatt says and places a hand on my shoulder "pretty well, im kind of excited" i state an rub the back of my neck specifically with my left hand. i glance at quackity who was giving me a side glare. i was confused but didnt show it and ended up shrugging it off "im excited too, all of manburg is gonna be here, even some of the dream smp. everyones gonna see how great this land is now that im in charge" schlatt removes his hands and puts them behind his back i nodded "the decorations look really nice, good work y/n" quackity... complimented? the tone of his voice was weird almost laced with venom "u-uh well tubbo did most of the work i was just being a sort of errand boy for him" i explained "hey quack whats with the tone huh?" schlatt glares at quackity "huh? what do you mean?" he asked schlatt nervously "what? do you think youre some tough guy? dont talk to y/n like that alright" i threatened quackity. i was taken aback. schlatt never says my name. its always kid. i had a huge grin on my face but was faced slightly down so you couldnt really see it "oh cmon schlatt im just messing with him, we're having fun" quackity wrapped his arm around me and my grin was replaced with a nervous smile  "right y/n?" quackity asked smiling at me "uh-" i didnt know what to say so i just looked at schlatt confused "i dont care alright, if the kid comes to me talking about you, youre dead" schlatt lazily waves at me indicating i can leave if i want 

i moved quackitys arm and decided to head to where a lot of people where. i saw fundy, nikki, eret, tubbo, and some others i didnt recognize. as i walked away i turned back to glance at quackity and schlatt. they seemed to be talking normal again. i huffed and was finally in the crowd. everyone seemed to be laughing at someone who was in the water. while fundy was complaining about him eating. i stood next to nikki smiling at fundy and the man that was 'drowning' "oh wait i left the stove on at home-" the man who was in the water said and used a trident to fly away. i laughed along with everyone else "hey everyone! anyone up for some pvp?" tubbo said and started walking up to the pvp arena. there was a series of cheers an 'yeas' as the group followed him. everyone circled around the fences while i sat on the fences watching the fights in front of me. everyone was having a great time

"y/n! you should try fighting too!" tubbo says and now all the attention was on me "oh, i dont know tubbo-" i was interrupted by fundy "oh come one, youre schlatts body guard lets see how strong you really are" fundy taunted me. i sighed and rubbed the back of my neck with my left hand "ill fight you!" someone from the crowd hopped the fence and into the arena. the guy wore an old uniform of some sorts and had the old 3d glasses on along with a headset for some reason. but most importantly he was bald "youre bald" i say bluntly as i slouched on the fence. some people laughed while he seemed annoyed "im not bald! i still have hair see!" he pointed and i just shrugged "meh" i hopped off the fence and into the arena "i guess i can knock you out, but next time youll have to pay. 20 bucks" i say as i start stretching 

i heard some oohs in the crowd "thats a lot of talk for a child" he mocks i got into a fighting stance with my fists in front of me as i hopped from foot to foot. he looked a lot older than me, "yea yea whatever old man, youre just jealous of my babyface. my cuteness haunts you" see now usually i dont say stuff like that but cmon, im not gonna let him talk like that to me "im not an old man! and my name's jack dickhead!" 'jack' yells annoyed "alright alright, enough talking more fighting!" fundy yells. jack takes this moment to come forth and shoot a right to which i quickly lean back and dodged. his moves where sloppy and rushed, so i just kept dodging until he got tired. as i dodged he lost footing and ended up stumbling but quickly recollected himself but not fully so i took the opportunity and gave him a left hook 

he tried to recollect himself once more but i didn't give him a chance. i wanted this fight over as soon as possible so with this last hit i put all my strength in. he falls back and the crowd cheers. i look over to nikki and smile. she gives me a thumbs up.  "well, that was easy" i say and go back to my old spot that i was sitting but i didn't stay there for long "hey everyone! tubbo has a speech, how's about we let him get his words and then the real party can start, yea!?" schlatt hyped the crowd up from the path that was next to us. everyone started to head to the podium and sat in the seats in front of it and i followed the crowd only to be stopped by schlatt "c'mon kid, stand with us on the podium" he says and starts climbing up "yes sir" i followed behind as everyone settled down tubbo began his speech, it was long... and boring.. i was having trouble focusing so i kinda just sang a song in my head, i ever so slightly bopped my head. i usually did this when i was home alone but i haven't done it in a while, i always sung the same song as well. its actually my favorite. its called f/s (favorite song) it kinda just sounds nice suddenly my attention was caught by a head, on top of the building in front of us, i highly doubt quackity schlatt or tubbo noticed since they where kinda focused on their own thing. the head had blonde hair, im assuming it was tommy and wilbur since after a while i saw another head peek out and there hair was a curly brown with a beanie. i kinda just stared at them for a few and then lost interest

i was kinda bored right now, i mean the speech wasnt really beneficial to me so i didnt wanna listen and it would be kinda rude to just leave- "dont think i havent been seeing you sneaking off for hours tubbo " oh... i guess schlatt caught on, poor tubbo "you know what happens to traitors tubbo?" schlatt asked him "n-no, what does happen to them?" schlatt just laughed "hey! technoblade, come up here" i looked to the crowd and see a man in full netherite start to walk up to the podium. i didn't trust him one bit so i quickly equipped my armor and held my shield "technoblade, i want you to take him out" schlatt said to techno "uhh like, you want me to buy him some breakfast?" techno said obviously stalling "n- what? no i want you to execute him!" 

from hearing that the crowd was very displeased, cries could be heard from nikki, she was the loudest "schlatt we already have him imprisoned isn't that enough?" quackity asked, oh i didn't even notice he was in like a little box "no its not enough, my right hand man! a traitor! no imprisoning him is not enough he needs to be executed !" schlatt shouted next to me  "technoblade do it"  he commanded i take a look at techno and see regret in his expression "sorry tubbo, ill make it as painless and colorful as possible" he brought his crossbow up and aimed at tubbo and started to fire. i pushed schlatt in back of me and shielded us with my shield. 

i was knocked back to the ground and my ears where ringing, i couldn't hear anything. most likely from the blast of the fireworks. i was currently on my knees facing the crowd i hear muffled blasts, i look up only to see the crowd being shot at by technoblade. before i could get up and try to fight him he quickly fled. my hearing was slowly returning as things became less muffled i stood up and look to where i pushed schlatt, he was dusting himself off. he looked fine, i had potions of instant healing in my enderchest but i guess schlatt didn't need any. i walk to the other side of the podium and see quackity a bloody mess on the floor i quickly rush over and place my enderchest down and get one of the potions i kneeled down  beside him and gave him the potion "here drink it, its instant healing" he takes it and chugs it down "bleh, that tastes horrible" he says an his wounds start going away "i dont think any of the potions taste good" i say as i stand back up an grab my enderchest" i extend my arm out to help him up. he hesitates but eventually took it and we all stood up. i look back at the crowd everyone was gone, most likely fled home cause of the blade "well that was eventful" i mumble to myself
