King of spades dsmp x male reader

it was very sunny today, almost all of l'manburg was helping rebuild the city. y/n was able to calm down and him and eret went to tubbo to clear things up. tubbo told him he forgived him but tommy was a bit more stubborn. it was fine though, y/n understood tommy reasoning and decided over time him and tommy would get along.  "ranboo we need some more spruce do you mind getting more?" y/n hears tubbo call out to someone as he sits on top of one of the unfinished buildings "huh? oh, sure!" ranboo says. y/n didnt meet ranboo yet, yea hes seen him around but never interacted with him. "lets try and make some friends" y/n mutters to himself. 

he jumps down from the building, yea it was a pretty high jump but getting hurt was worth the feeling of being high in the air. y/n always liked falling, when he found out hay bails broke his fall a bit hed always jump in ravines and put them down to break his fall. a sprained or broken ankle was worth it in his eyes. "gah! are you ok?!" y/n heard a voice to the right side of him, he was crouched on the ground from when he jumped, his fingertips touching the floor "oh! hey there ranboo was it?" y/n asked, he already knew that was ranboo hes been watching everyone around him all day "yea, i am" ranboo  says fidgeting with his hands. 

y/n stood up from crouching and his ankles screamed in pain "M" he said when he stood up fully realizing how much it hurt "a- that was a pretty high jump, are you alright" ranboo asked again "pshh nah im fine" y/n waved his hands in front of him as he lied "i wanted to ask if you wanted any help,   i heard tubbo wanted you to gather spruce" y/n says limping forward "uhhh sure, i mean if you dont mind some help would be great haha" ranboo chuckles "alright then, i know where a spruce forest is, lets go" y/n begins to walk with a small limp 

"are you sure youre alright youre kind of limping" ranboo points out "meh, ill live-" y/n starts "anyways, youre new around here right?" y/n asked at the male that pretty much towered over him "yea, i came a while ago" he says tapping on his chin "cool, whered you come from" y/n asked another question "uhhhh, i cant really answer that, my memory is a bit bad yknow" ranboo rubbed his hands together nervously "i dont really remember anything before arriving other than my name and a few other things " he explains and y/n nods "ah that sucks, well then, how do you like this place so far?" y/n realized he couldnt really get to know him that well since his memory was shit

"well its uh, definitely uh, well its probably seen better days from the looks of it" ranboo laughs and soon y/n joins in "yea it really has" the spruce forest was now in sight, just a few yard ahead of them, "so what happened for l'manburg to look like that?" ranboo takes a turn to ask a question "well, i dont know the full story but, there was a war, explosion, and 2 withers" y/n listed off "i was told the war was a different day so i missed almost all of it, youd probably have to ask tubbo or quackity" y/n still didnt get the full story of what happened. 

"anyways here we are" y/n says and summons his axe "even though theres a lot of  damage i think the rebuilding is coming along great" y/n says and begins chopping  down the trees "yea, im sure lmanburg will look great" ranboo hums. as they cut down trees in a comforting silence y/n heard a branch break behind him. he turns around from facing the tree he was cutting "did you hear that?" he asks ranboo who was humming to himself while cuting down the trees "huh? hear what" ranboo says, his attention now shifting to y/n "i heard a branch break, or somthing" the last part was just a whisper "w-well i mean we are cutting down trees-" ranboo spoke out 

y/n stared in the direction where he heard the noise "well...-" y/n started but decided against investigating "yea youre right, do you think we have enough wood?" y/n asks walking twords ranboo "mm, yea id say- yea this should be enough" ranboo says looking through his inventory "alrigh then-" y/n groaned and stretched his arms up " then lets head back" he says that while letting out a sigh "mhm" ranboo hums in agreement and begins walking. 

"soooo, have you made any friends here yet?" y/n asked starting up some small talk "uh, yea- wel- well id say we're uh, that- i mean i think we're friends" ranboo stutters out which made y/n laugh a bit "im sure it was tubbo? yea tubbo was the first person i met when i arrived to manbu- lmanburg " y/n corrected himself mid sentence "ah, i met tommy first, he just yelled at me" ranboo laughed "he yelled at me as well when we first met too" y/n chuckled a bit. "do you live in lmanburg?" ranboo asked i hummed as i thought about it "kinda? im kinda by the outskirts of lmanburg, im pretty close to a forest" y/n noticed that c/n was walking beside him 'how'd you get here?' he thought to himself 

"but i plan on moving somewhere far, i feel like theres gonna be a lot of problems" y/n rambles "ah, i see" ranboo says as they step in l'manburg "now, where tubbo...." ranboo hummed as he looked around "do you have any space in your inventory?" y/n asked "yes actually, i do" ranboo answers turning to look at y/n "here-" y/n starts and gives ranboo 5 stacks of spruce logs "this mixed with whatever you got should be enough, im gonna head home now" y/n says and picks up c/n from beside him "ah alright, cute cat"  ranboo says and pats c/n's head "yea! i found them a few days ago, im already attached" y/n smiles "well then i guess ill see you around?" ranboo asks "yea, ill most likely be helping rebuild more tomorrow" y/n informs the taller male "alright ill see you then" ranboo waves and y/n begins walking off, he glanced back to see ranboo writing in a journal. he decided to shrug it off and go on about his day
