recap: while helping rebuild lmanburg he decides to interact with ranboo, ranboo and him are now friends :)

there was a crowd cheering and clapping as the last few things in lmanburg was placed, tubbo, niki, eret, ranboo, quackity, philza where the ones there along with y/n. "that was a lot of work" y/n sighed and sat on the floor with his arms supporting him up on his sides while his legs where spread "you can say that again" ranboo says standing to the left of y/n holding c/n. "the future is looking fright for lmanburg, i can see it" tubbo says proudly a bit in back of y/n to his right. y/n finally stood up from his spot and hummed in agreement "we did really well, up top!" y/n says and raises both his hands for tubbo and ranboo to high five. they both cheered and slapped his hand "holy shit! this place looks amazing!" the three hard a familiar loud voice 

"i know right!" tubbo says to his best friend that also happens to be the vice president "weve had the help of almost everyone of lmanburg" tubbo bragged "we should have a party! yknow to celebrate the rebuild" fundy suggested whilst jumping up "oooooh yes that sounds like a great idea!" nikki agreed along with a few others y/n would rather just stay home for the party, with what happened last time it didnt end well. 

everyone began to split up into their own groups or homes, y/n decided to stick with ranboo cause he had c/n. we where following fundy, quackity, tubbo, and tommy. in the distance the e/c male see's a green blob walking twords lmanburg "guys dreams coming" he says to the group, whos attention was now on dream. y/n hasnt spoken or seen dream since the war, to y/n dream was sort of a mentor, dream helped with fighting but also with his emotions. so ignoring schlatts death wasnt so hard. y/n jogged over to dream, he was still a bit far from lmanburg, he was on the prime path actually "hi dream!" y/n greets and begins walking next to him 

"hello y/n, how are you" dream asked in a friendly tone "pretty good, we just finished rebuilding so thats great" y/n looked down the steps to see the 5 boys glancing at him and dream "oh really? you guys finished fast" dream chuckled "yea! we everyone was helping so we finished up really quick, and everyones getting along as well, i even made a couple of new friends" y/n ranted which made dream laugh a bit. dream placed his hand on y/ns head and ruffled his hair which made y/n smile widely  "thats great kid" as dream said that y/ns smile faded and he got a bit quiet "y-yeah" 

dream only stared blankly at y/n, he knew exactly what he was doing. the rest of the walk was quiet, it wasnt a long of a walk more like a few steps "hello dream" tubbo says firmly. y/n only walks over to ranboo who hands him c/n "hello tubbo, manburgs- i mean, lmanburg is looking great" dream says proudly looking around a bit from where he stood, the group began to walk in lmaburg, before dream stepped in he took his armour off. sometimes y/n forgot about that rule and would walk in with his armour on, he was used to it since he was a body guard. plus he felt more comfortable with his armour on, it made him feel safe

c/n had moved from y/n arm and began to sit on his shoulder, which made him smile a bit. then something flickered in y/ns mind. "hey ranboo" y/n whispered to the taller male that stood a bit in front of him "yea?" ranboo turns around to look at y/n "wanna go raid a wooden mansion with me tomorrow?" y/n asked "o-oh! sure, i havent raided one of those yet. yea, this'll be fun" ranboo agrees and y/n smiles "alright then, wake up early and come to my place, kay?" y/n informs "alright, ill see you then" ranboos says as y/n begins to walk home to prepare, as he took a few steps he remembered dream was still there. he began to walk backwards, once dream looked at him he waves a goodbye which dream returned with a small salute

"alrighty then c/n" y/n begins "ill be gone fore a while so i need someone to take care of you" y/n says and softly scratches c/ns cheek. c/n let out a noise of disapproval "how about eret? erets really nice i bet youll love him" y/n tried to reason only for c/n not to make any reactions. y/n makes it to his house and opens the door. y/n stretched as he walked in closing the door behind him.c/n had jumped down from his shoulder and started running off somwhere in the house. c/n was an odd cat, very smart as well since he understood y/n and responds, it might not be with words butt its still responding. as he passed the kitchen up to the stairs he caught a glimpse of the sheet of paper he left on the kitchen island. 

that was the letter schlatt wrote for him, y/n had thought about speaking to phil since he heard phil would be living in l'manburg. but each time he was interrupted or got distracted, and so he always settled on 'next time'. "kock knock!" just as y/n reached the top of the stair case someone had knocked on his door "ugghhh i just got up here" y/n groaned and started going back down "coming! doors unlocked!"  he shouted out to whoever knocked, he assumed it would be eret or ranboo but to his surprise it was dream. the masked hooded man was stepping into y/ns house 

"oh, hey dream!" y/n greets as he steps on the last stair step "hey y/n, hows it going?" dream asked starting small talk "ive been great, i was actually just gonna get prepared for tomorrow, me and ranboo are gonna explore a woodland mansion" y/n says as c/n walks up to the two, not recognizing dream c/n circled around him getting a good looks "whos this?" dream says and crouches moves his hand in front of c/n for him to smell "his name's c/n, i--, i found him in the wood" y/n stuttered as he remembered how he got c/n 

as c/n sniffed him he slowly backed away and hissed, causeing dream to stand up quickly. "bud its fine, dreams a friend see?" y/n walked next to dream and placed his hand on dreams shoulder. c/n only hissed more, eyes becoming thin slits as its hair stood up, and in a blink of an eye c/n bolted up the stairs. y/n stared worriedly up the stairs where c/n ran off to "i-im sorry he usually doesnt act this way, i dont know whats gotten into him" y/n says awkwardly removing his hand from dreams shoulder "ah dont sweat it, he probably smelled my cat" dream says casually and laughs a bit to eat the tension

"y-yea, would you like a drink?" y/n asked and the two walked into the kitchen "sure" dream says and notices the letter but decided to just leave it there, for now. "so whatd you come here for anyways?" y/n asked grabbing two cups "ah, well, i wanted to know if you wanted to join the dream team, cause of all the things that happened with l'manburg youd probably get into a lot of trouble" dream explains "george sapnap and i live together in a pretty big place so there should be more than enough room for you" dream finishes and y/n thinks for a bit his movements slow, he turns to grab (idk you pick a drink) "i mean i planned on living somewhere far away, ah, kind of like a secret base yknow" y/n turns around to face dream and poor the drink in the cup 

"ill have to decline your offer- hey don-" dream had grabbed the letter and began reading it, along with the back, y/n only stood there staring in horror waiting for anything to happen. dream began to crumble up the paper "wait!" y/n tried to reach over for the paper only for dream to draw his sword out "what the fuck is this, he told you!" dream shout as he stomped on the burning paper "this wasnt the deal i was supposed to be the only one that knew!" dream shouted in annoyance. y/n quickly equiped his armour and held his axe, dream only stared at him before groaning and putting his sword away 

"fuck, its too late now, you already read it" dream groaned once more, y/n never let his guard down, ready for dream to attack him "listen, im not gonna hurt you- i-its just" dream stumbled on his words "look, you can cause a lot of damage if you just go around reviving people" dream  explains still annoyed but calm  "you cant tell or show anyone, alright?" dream said sternly as he stepped closer to dream "yes sir" y/n replied quickly waning dream to leave as soon as possible. "you'd better start packing, now that you know about that theres no way im letting you live in l'manburg" dream says again "i barely even live in lmanburg! only you ranboo eret and nikki know i live here!" y/n tried to reason 

"did i ask? you knowing this puts not only yourself at risk but lmanburg too, if tommy or even tubbo knew this information, id kill them" dream taunted as his voice was laced with venom "you and me are in good terms, so id like to keep you alive." dream ranted "and what if i dont live in lmanburg, or with you, that was my original plan anyways" y/n spoke now a bit angry "if you do i dont want to see your face in l'manburg, if i do im taking you by force" dream settles it and walks away, twords the door "you have a week!" dream shouted and slammed the door 

y/n only stood there shocked, mad, sad, and confused "that was one of the worst interactions ive had her" y/n mutters and looks back at the cups "didnt even get a drink..." y/n eyebrown knitted. he just went upstairs to his room to continue getting ready for tommorrow
