We arrive at the Beach and we all start to walk around "Penelope" I say as I distract her so Aaliyah can get the poster board "Yes" she said "come here" I say as I hold my hands out and she puts her hands in them "I love you so much" I say. I see Aaliyah having the board up "Penelope turn around" Aaliyah said while smiling, while Penelope was turning around and reading the board I get onto 1 knee and Penelope looks down at me "Penelope Grace Garica You have been my best friend for 7 years and your my everything you make my daughter and I very happy will you please make me the happiest man and marry me" I say nervously "Yes I will marry you"  she said as I slide the ring on her finger and I jump up and I hug her "I love you" I whisper in her ear "Yay Mommy and Daddy are getting married" Aaliyah yelled "she called she mommy" Penelope whispered in my ear which made me smile 

It's been a few days since we got back from our trip and no one knows if Penelope said yes or no so we are surprising them today at the Office by us going in at different times and us not talking. I walk into the bedroom where Penelope was putting on her shoes and about to go to the BAU "I hate lying to our friends" "I know but I love playing with their minds" "well I'm gonna head there now" She said as she stood up kissing me on my cheek "I love you" "I love you too and don't forget to take off your ring" I said before she walked out "dad when are we going to grammas" "soon princess" I say "ok but can we tell gramma the good news" "Of course" I say smiling 

I got to Aaliyahs Grammas House when I walked in Aaliyah ran up to her Gramma "Guess what Penelope and Daddy are getting married" she said with a smile on her face than her Gramma started to smile "I'm so proud and excited for you both" "Thank you" I said smiling "wow she will be another girl you get pregnant then she will ditch you" Jenna said "why is she here" I asked "Because this is my mother's house and I'm allowed to be here" Jenna said smirking "Aaliyah cmon your just gonna go to work with me" "ok" Aaliyah said excited "I'm excited to see mommy and I can decorate something for Emily" "Mommy?" Jenna questioned "Yea she is my mommy," Aaliyah said "no I'm your mommy" "No your not because if you were my mommy you would love me and be there for me but no instead you're being a coward and hiding from your responsibilities," Aaliyah said as she grabbed a cookie "and that's on period" she added which left Susan and I with wide eyes and Jenna filled with anger "you raised a brat" she spat at me "she does take after her mother" I quickly responded "Aaliyah cmon," I said 

We got to the BAU and Aaliyah fell asleep so our prank is going to work, I walk in holding sleeping Aaliyah and everyone looks at me and I look upset "Morgan" Emily said "Yea" "Is everything ok" "mhm" "did she say no" I stayed silent and I walked to Garcias Lair "Hotch is that you" "no it's me" I said knowing everyone was behind me " Oh" she responded "what happened" Jj asked "Mommy and daddy are getting married" Aaliyah said before going back to sleep "OH THANK GOD YOU BOTH SCARED ME" Emily said as she put her hand on her heart making us all smile "we are all proud of you guys" Hotch said before everyone walked out and I laid Aaliyah on Garcia's couch in her lair "You go finish those files" Garcia joked "I will" I say smiling before walking to my desk. After 3 hours of working, I see Garica and Aaliyah come out "we are gonna go get some food at fancy diner across the street" "ok be careful" "Ok dad" Penelope said making me chuckle.

"MORGAN PRENTISS REID" JJ yells making us all run to the conference room where Hotch and Rossi are at "what's wrong," Prentiss said "there's a shooting across the street at one of the diners, "Hotch said making me quickly lookup "which diner" "Fancy Diner," JJ said "no no no," I said as I run out of the room and go to the stairs, I hear everyone calling for me but I'm not stopping until someone knocked me down but I got up and tried to run but I feel someone pull me back "let me go my wife and daughter are in there," I said "you can't go in there there is an active shooter in there," Hotch said "I can't lose them if I do lose them I don't know what id do," I said. when everyone wasn't looking I got closer to the diner and I see my girls looking out the window scared but when Penelope and I made eye contact I tried to run in but officers including Rossi and Hotch held me back "you can't go in there" Hotch said "they need you I know they do but for everyone to survive you need to be out here" Rossi said as I looked back at the diner and the shooter goes up to Penelope with his gun to her than a gunshot goes off and I hear my girls screaming from inside the diner...
