'Betrayed....again'

Avery's POV:

*two days later*

It's been two days since the ball but things have still been a bit weird with my brothers and i, they kept checking upon me and getting me things which i didn't need but i had to accept it or they would get mad, I hadn't spoke to Nina since the ball, i found it weird as she would usually text me each morning telling me what happened so i thought I'd call her because it's weird if you ask me.
*calling Nina
'Nina'I spoke

"Omg hey Avery, how are you?"
she asked so formally which shocked me she was usually informal

"I-I'm good, are you okay?"
I asked with concern

"Yeah why would i be"
she said happily

"O-oh erm nothing, i was just worried as we haven't spoke since the ball and all" i say and she's quite

"Missed me i see"
she laughs and i giggle

"Well....something happened but don't freak out"
she said which i knew was bad news

"What is it, what did you do this time?"
I asked her

"Well i cant tell you over the phone can you come to this location"
she asked and now it was worrying me

"Are you okay Nina ? Where are you, do you want me to bring someone along?"
I asked her and she laughed

"No no I'm perfectly fine just come here okay"
she said and i felt relief fill my lungs

"Il be there as soon as possible"
i said and hung up.

*end of call*
I quickly got changed into women leather leggings and a black top with a blazer and i left the house and i went to the location and my eyes widened when i saw a huge mansion that was much bigger than ours and it was dark but in a nice way so i put my car on the side park in front the mansion and went up to the guard which as a surprise let me through which out hesitation and i went to the front door where more guards opened the doors and i looked around and Nina came running to me and hugged me

"W-woah calm down.."
i said as i hugged her and she giggled

"Did your parents get this without even telling me !?!?"
I asked and she laughed more

"No its not ours this is where..."
she got cut off but Aidan...AIDAN! FLIPPING AIDAN WHAT WAS HE DOING HERE

"Oh hey Avery"
he said and i looked in shock

"W-what is he doing here"
i asked and he chuckled

"I'm meant to ask you that, we stay here with the mafia"
and as he said that i immediately glare at Nina

"Hehe"
she said dragging me into a room where there mafia was and all the eyes were on us and i felt weird and then i saw him..blaze..

"How nice, you do home visits too"
he said smirking

"You wish, i came because Nina called me and if i knew you guys were here i wouldn't even consider coming here"
i said confidently and they all chuckled and he just locked eyes with me and i broke it

"Well Avery i need to tell you something but you need to sit"
she said which got me confused and i did so and i could already feel his gaze on me but i tried to ignore it

"I may of joined their mafia.."
she said which made me shocked.....did she just betray us for them ?!?

"W-w-what"
i said

"S-so you betrayed us for them for one stupid guy that will leave you in less than a week?"
I spoke which made them all shocked

"I-i thought you would be happy..."
she said to me which made me want to kill my self

"NO! What were you thinking! I would be happy that your with one of my brothers enemies!?!your insane, you betrayed us Nina you BETRAYED FAMILY!"
I yelled at her which made her and i get glossy eyes

"Y-you can j-ion to"
she said and i didn't know what to say from rage of those words

"ARE YOU INSANE! You know betraying family means you never be civil!"
I shouted at her and she realised what i meant

"N-no we can still be best friends"
she said trying to hug me but I stood up

"Fuck that, fuck your friendship and fuck this stupid mafia!"
I spat back and stormed out the room and most of them got out the room and i was about to leave but i felt a familiar touch, blaze...he had held onto my wrist

"Come on no need to get upset we can be civil,you guys can be,so can we"
he said with a smirk, i couldn't stand what he just said, after this and he's saying that! What a dick! And i slapped him across his face in front of his whole mafia and they looked shocked but blaze didn't react, i was expecting him to hurt me but he didn't do anything and i hit him again and he didn't do anything g even after i hit him more of his chest

"React for fuck sake!"
I said as a tear came down my cheek and i didn't know what to do but he just hugged me and i tried to fight back but his touch was something else so i hugged him back while crying to his chest and he made eye contact with his mafia to tell them to go
and i literally cried and i pulled back without a word and opened the door and didn't shut it as i walked out

"Aver-"
he spoke but i left and got into my car and he looked as I drove off.
I drove to a hill and cried my eyes out like and idiot because my best-friend just left me for a boy....wow how good right
I stayed there for a while and even napped for like 45 minuted or so and i woke up to see the time on my phone but I didn't want to go anywhere and i looked at my phone again to see a notification from axel

'Is it true.Nina?'
He texted me i figured he found out and I just put a thumbs up emoji to say yes.

*later that day when Avery was home*

"Avery you need to"
chase said i shook my head

"You cant see her again like you used to you cant talk to her about family stuff, she is on there mafia and they could bring us down, so do it for us, she's a betrayer she always was"
said Apollo and he wasn't wrong

"Fine.." i say quietly under my breath and they let out a relived sigh, the sound of me not being able to see Nina or talk to her about my problems felt like a part of me was collapsing, i have told her everything and always seen her almost daily for the past 18 years and now she just ruined it for a boy she only met earlier. I cant believe it, how she can just throw an 18 year old friendship down the drain like that.
Betrayed us.......we got betrayed again.......first by our parents for a dumb mission and now her........wow..
We really are getting used to this betrayal feeling aren't we, so now we are down to 5 people
Just a sibling mafia like it was before and how it should of always been
