Nina's POV:

*1.5 months later*

It had been a month and two weeks since i had joined blaze's mafia, it was actually way better than i expected it to be, they were all protective and cared for me as equal for everyone and i had gotten a strong friendships with this one girl in the mafia called Rose-Ann
We were becoming better friends by the days went by but i felt like i was slowly replacing Avery with her which hurt me, I haven't hear or spoke to Avery since i told her i joined blaze's mafia, i felt so bad for doing it but the worse part was when she said i betrayed her, I felt so bad when she said that because i know she's always felt betrayed by people who were close to her and by saying what i did that day i made it no better, me and Aidan had slowly gotten a better relationship even tho it wasn't official but whenever i look at him, i feel different, i feel appreciated not like how axel did, yes he was sweet too but he cared for his family more than himself which as a result would end him hurting himself so we ended it before Avery or any of his brothers found out.
"Miss Nina" the maid told me and i hummed
"Sir Armando is calling you for a meeting" she said and i left my room and went to the meeting to see the inner circle
(Blaze ofc, Rio, rose-Ann, Aidan, diesel,carter) and i take my seat and blaze starts to speak
"There will be another mafia meeting, this time it isn't like that stupid ball or anything its a speech from sir thirst-field all of you guys will be expected to be there the others aren't coming it's only us the inner circle thats going in our mafia and other mafias will be there too" he spoke and everyone mumble as in a yea
"Its tonight, i know its a sudden and all but just go wear something presentable and get into your assigned cars" blaze explained and left the room before anyone else and we left afterwords picking a presentable outfit.

Avery's POV:

I was upstairs getting ready for that stupid speech, and i was expecting Nina to be there with Blaze's mafia, I hadn't talked to her in almost 2 months but i tried to keep it non-bothering to me as much as possible. There was a new member in our mafia he joined 2 weeks ago, his name was Carlos, he was really attractive I'm not going to lie, he was tall muscular had tattoos and tanned skin with black hair but green eyes, we would sometimes have a few eye contacts and stuff but nothing major so i let it off of my shoulder as stuff like that shouldn't happen in a mafia bond. Sooner i picked an outfit which was 'presentable' in my opinions os i quickly put it on and did my makeup and stuff
Avery's outfit :

Moments later i went downstairs to see my brothers dressed all smart and i stood neck to Carlos and got into his arm as my brothers said never walk alone and i always got into someone's hand and i look up and see Carlos smirking,
my brothers got into there cars and i got into a car with Carlos and we were just making a conversation and we had finally arrived there and there were many cars and my brothers were walking behind us and allowed me and Carlson to walk in the front as it was the first time we are going to a speech with Carlos,
when we go inside all the eyes fall on us, all the girls are drooling over Carlos which i see why and most of them were giving me dirty smiles and i look around and of course who do i see...Nina and that stupid mafia,
there seems to be a girl that she stood by and i could tell she was trying to replace me, sooner we went and stood to the opposite end of where they were and i was next to Carlos still and I couldn't see blaze, i didn't know why i was looking for him...
last time i saw him i was crying so i was hoping he wasn't there but sooner he came back with some men from a different mafia and then he glanced to see my brothers and he immediately scanned the room and his eyes landed on me , with my arm still in Carlos' Arm and he looked jealous but Carlos was talking to me
