megan was meeting up with her 'loving' boyfriend for a coffee in the park the a few days later at ten. it was her suggestion – he would have preferred a quickie back at his place. however, during one of his stints of playing the role of the doting boyfriend, he'd agreed to coffee.

the girl had the formula mastered. he expected to see her at least every few days so when he was having his 'good' moments, she'd suggest meeting up in places where she wasn't going to be alone at his mercy. see exhibit a: the 'getting a coffee in the park'. this way, in lucas's mind, he was still seeing her, but she also wouldn't have to engage in... acts she really didn't want to. it wouldn't last long. he'd eventually realise he hadn't gotten off in a while and insist she go back to his with him, but for the meantime it was working.
