"Wake up Gavin it's the first day of school," Dad says.
"Okay, well I think I'm all ready," I say tapping his shoulder from behind.
"Then who is in the bed?" Dad says looking around very nervously
"Oh, well those are just a bunch of pillows," I say pulling the blanket off from the pillows "Dad you know I'm use to this routine right?"
" Oh. Well then you should go downstairs and get some food" Dad says.
" I already did that, Dad. You need to catch up with me." Gavin says."Okay don't want to be late so got to go to school. Bye." I started to walk out the door, Then I heard him say something.
Dad screamed, "Did you forget to brush your teeth?"
"Already did that." I starts walking to the bus stop. "I'm nervous to go into school." I think I get on the bus but before I knew it I was walking into the school. Then I see this girl. She had blonde hair, brown eyes, and a gorgeous smile. "Ok now I'm ALOT more nervous than before" I think.All of a sudden she started walking up to me. She greeted me with a big smile.
"Hey. Welcome to Blossom High!!! I'm Coco and I will be your mentor." The girl said
" Nice to meet you Coco. I'm Gavin" I say
" Nice to meet you too. Ok let me show you around"
She showed me the bathrooms, cafeteria, and the gym.
" Hey um do you guys have a music room?" I ask
" Oh yeah it's down the hall to the right, Why?"
" Um I like music a lot. Can we maybe go and see it"
" Of course!" Coco said smiling.
We walk into the music room. It's huge! There's so many instruments, and there was even a recording studio inside. I immediately go and hook my phone up to the speakers.
" Coco can I ask you something?" I say nervously
" Go for it"
"So you know how I said I like music? Well I wrote a song and I'm not sure if it's good or not, so I was hoping you could tell me."
"Ok" She said smiling nodding her head a bit
" I'm only going to sing a little bit" I say getting the beat ready to play
"Okay" tucking a piece of loose hair behind her ear
" You do, I never met somebody in my life like you
And I never met somebody in my life so cool
Never felt like I'm nobody in this world, I knew" I sing
"...Wow.. That was amazing" looking amazed
" Thanks."
" You should record it."
" um.. W-What about class?" I say trying to avoid her suggestion
" Class starts in 30 minutes Gavin. You have talent and it would be a shame if you didn't use it. Please?"
" O-Ok I'll do it" I say giving in
I got into the booth and pulled up the lyrics I wrote on my phone. We ended up recording the whole song. I look up to see Coco crying.
" Omg Coco whats wrong" I say running over to her
" Y-Yeah that was just beautiful. Ugh I feel so silly crying over a song" Coco said laughing a bit
Then we hear the bell. We look at each other and smile.
" Well I guess we should start heading to class"
" Yeah. Um where is my first class anyways?"
" Well since your new to the school we have the same schedule. Our first class art"
"Oh" I said rolling my eys
" Are you okay and why did you roll your eyes?" Coco asked
"Yeah i just don't like art"
"Oh well Miss Miller is our teacher. Don't worry you'll love her"
" Ok" I say with a frown
We walk to our class. Coco went and sat at the back of the class. I was about too also but then a girl started yelling my name.
"Gavin Gavin Gavin says Piper",with a smile and blushing
"Oh..h-how do you know my name?"
"Oh i'm sorry i'm Piper Cocos friend you can sit with me if you want, cause i know it might be awkward to be in a class with people you don't really know"smiling and blushing
"Oh um okay thanks " I say with a slight smile
" No problem cutie- I mean moody.. yeah moody" Piper says trying to get me to look in her eyes
Class ends and I leave the classroom. I see Coco in the halls.
" Hey Coco wait up" I yell while running
" Hi Gavin. So wasn't Miss Miller nice?" She says looking at me with her brown eyes
"Oh yeah. I've gotta tell you something..."
" K what is it?"
"Um.. Well..."
Coco looked confused.
" I-I think that maybe, possibly Piper may... I don't know... Like me?"
