"Der..." Meredith tapped her hand on his shoulder lightly.
"Huh? Yes mer" Derek says sitting up.
"Orphan?"
"Orphan? What are you talking about Mer?"
"Mark...ask him about Orphan please" Mer says drifting off again.
Derek leaves her room going to Mark's.
"Hey" Mark greets. He notices Derek doesn't make eye contact with him.
"What's up with you?"
"Nothing just glad you didn't die"
"Ok..."
"Mer's asking about Orphan she said to ask you"
"Oh yeah we found her she should be somewhere in the hospital, ask chief he probably knows where she is, he can take her to Meredith's room or something"
"Alright" Derek nods seeing Lexie waiting outside Mark's door.
"I'll come back to visit later" Derek says leaving Mark's room.
"Derek we need to talk-" Lexie starts following him doesn't he hall.
"No lexie we don't, we should forget about it, it was one night"

Lexie stops following him, making her way back to Mark's room.

"Alex do you want to go to the hospital today?"Cristina asked handing him a bowl of cereal.
"No I'm ok"
"Well you have to"
"What? Why?"
"Evil Spawn you can't walk without help, I'm going to the hospital and can't leave you here"
"Then why'd you ask if I wanted to go"
"To give you a choice"
"But I didn't actually have a choice" Alex grunts eating his cereal.

Cristina grabbed a wheelchair for Alex wheeling him first to Arizona's room.
"Good morning" Arizona smiles greeting them.
"Morning" Alex muttered.
Arizona looks at Cristina.
"He's being a big baby because he didn't get his way" Cristina teases.
"Do you want to go visit the others?" Cristina asked Arizona.
"Yeah sure" Cristina gets a nurse to wheel Arizona while she wheels Alex. They both choose to visit Meredith. Cristina is surprised to see the room empty.

After visiting for a while Alex asked to go to Mark's rooms so Cristina wheels him there. When she comes back Arizona asked to go back to her room so Cristina takes her. Cristina gets her settled in and leaves to go back to Meredith's room.

"Mer?" Cristina gets up hearing Meredith cough slightly.
"I'm ok" she assures Cristina trying to sit up a little. Cristina grabs a pillow to support her, raising her bed slightly.
"Where's Orphan?" Meredith asked.
"What do you mean? She's in the woods?"
"No me and Mark found her" Meredith smiles.
"Ok well I'm sure someone's looking for her and they're going to get her here when they can"
"I owe Mark $100" Meredith laughed.
"I owe him $200 from a bet I lost" Cristina rolls her eyes.
"Wait, why do you owe him money?" Cristina asked.
"We used his money to get back"
"Oh...what happened out there Mer?"
"I-I died but I didn't I woke up in the woods so did Mark, we walked to a street which Orphan was on, then we got her some things, showered at the pool showers of a community pool, ate at a fast food place, and got a cab to Boise Memorial" Meredith explains quickly.
Cristina stays quiet.
"I'm sorry we left you out there"
"It's fine you thought I was dead and I'm fine now, or will be once I get out of here"
"I'm glad your back"
"Me too, Derek says the dream house is ready and we can move in once I get out of here" Meredith smiles.
"That's nice, have you talked to Derek?"
"Not much he's been quiet" Meredith frowns.
"He's probably just a little shocked we all were"
"Yeah I know I just don't want him to be distant, did anything happen? Is he ok?"
"I think you need to talk to him Mer"
"I-"
Meredith stops when the door opens revealing Derek and Orphan.
"Orphan!!" Meredith sequels holding her arms out to the pup.
Derek places the puppy down gently.
"Thanks for finding her Der"
"Don't thank me thank the nurse who helped me get her" Derek laughs.

Cristina watches as Derek and Meredith laugh together. She wants nothing more than for them to always be like that, but she also knows Meredith needs to eventually know about Lexie and Derek sleeping together. They were strong they could survive it. Cristina slips out of the room.
