Ellerie's POV
"Luuuuuu!" I said poking him in the chest.

"Ellieeeeeee!" He said poking me back.

"Can we go swimming?" I asked him.

"Omg yessss." He said back.

"Let's go get baiting suits." I smiled going to stand up. It was kinda sore but I was going to power through it.

"You good cutie?" Luke asked me.

"Yeah." I smiled at him.

"Alrighty." He said following me as we walked to the stairs. I climbed a few then turned to Luke and made a face. He chuckled at me and picked me up.

"Ok now let's go." I chuckled wrapping my legs around him. We went upstairs and Luke grabbed a baiting suit from Seamus' room. He got changed while I went into my bedroom. I looked at myself in the mirror. There were bruises all over my waist and some dried blood on my cheek. My eye was still swollen but I could still see out of it.

"Hey baby." Luke said walking up behind me. He wrapped his arms around me and rested his chin on my head.

"Hey." I said looking down.

"Let's get you a bathing suit yeah?" He asked me.

"Yeah." I said turning to my bathing suit racks. I went through them having an idea of the bathing suit I wanted to wear. I pulled out my favorite red bikini.

I went into my bathroom to get changed and quickly went out avoiding looking in the mirrors

I went into my bathroom to get changed and quickly went out avoiding looking in the mirrors.

"Ready?" Luke asked with towels in his hand.

"Yup!" I smiled taking the towels from him.

"Then let's go!" He said picking me up. I laughed while Luke ran out of my room, down the stairs and across my house. Once we were in my backyard he spun me around and I squealed and laughed again.

He stopped slowly still holding me. "I love your laugh Ellie."

I just smiled sweetly at him. "It's all because of you Lu."

"Your so cute." He said. I leaned in for a kiss and our lips attached in sync. It was a slow kiss the kind that lingers on your lips and leaves a taste. He pulled back and smiled at me.

"Can we tan for a bit?" I asked just wanting to embrace the heat while I still could.

"Sure!" Luke said walking us over to the lounge chairs.

He put me down and I climbed onto one of them. "What should we do for our birthday." I asked Luke once he had laid down.

"I was thinking we could keep it lowkey with our friends." He said back to me.

"Yeah but are we going to do it like together or separately." I asked him.

"Don't worry about it Ellie." He said giving me a devilish smile.
