Ellerie's POV I woke up around noon. I haven't gone to school all week and I've barely seen my friends. Luke facetimes me every night which is nice. I'm starting to feel like myself again which is nice I guess. I don't know if I'll ever really feel the same but I can hope.
I went to check my phone. I saw a ton of Instagram notifications, but I decided to ignore them until later. I went onto my messages app. I started with my texts from Luke.

I walk downstairs and into the kitchen. It doesn't hurt to walk anymore and I'm going to try riding today and see how it goes. My face is pretty much healed, there's just a bit of bruising on my cheek. My hips are healed as well and look normal. Today is me and Luke's birthday. He's coming over tonight for dinner and we're hanging out after school. I decided I would post on Instagram for our birthday and just check Instagram in general.
