{ Maddie }

"Mommy!" Landyn screamed and ran to me as I walked through the back door. I just got home from my girls trip. I was so ready to see my boys.

Landyn reached me and I picked him up, hugging and kissing him,

"I missed you"

"I missed you too Mommy" he giggled and hugged my neck.

I looked over as Calum made his way to me from his spot on the outdoor couch,

"Hey babe" he pecked my lips, "Missed you"

"Missed you more"

I put Landyn down and he raced inside to go get his new cleats so he could show me them. Calum chuckled and pulled me into his hold,

"Did you have a good time?" he kissed me again,

"I did. Thank you boys for sending us" I smiled,

"Of course" he nodded, "Oh, I think everyone's coming over here tonight. We're gonna grill out and stuff"

"Okay cool," I spoke as Landyn ran back out, holding his new gray and neon yellow cleats,

"Those are cool buddy!"

"They make me run fast. I've been practicing" he told me then sat down and pulled his tennis shoes off and slid his cleats on,

"Daddy can you tie 'em?" he spoke, making me give him a look, "Please?"

Calum grinned and knelt down, tying Landyn's cleats for him. Landyn stood and took off to the grass where his little soccer goal is.

"Was he good for you?" I asked, hugging Calum's waist, inhaling the scent of his cologne,

"Always"

Everyone showed up around 4:00, right as I was getting out of a shower. Calum could have at least told me what time they were coming.

I quickly dried my hair and tossed on jean shorts and a T-shirt before walking out to the backyard, taking a seat with the girls,

"Long time no see" KayKay joked as the guys walked over. Landyn was out in the grass playing with Duke,

"Did you ladies have a nice trip?" Luke asked as they sat down next to their respective partners. Calum sat next to me and pulled me into his side,

"Oh yeah!" Sierra grinned,

"Just don't check the credit card bill," Crystal told Michael,

"I honestly could care less" he kissed her head,

"Please tell me you bought some stuff for you" Calum whispered. I've been stingy on money since we combined bank accounts. I just feel bad using our money when he's the one contributing the most,

"She did" KayKay confirmed, hearing what Calum asked. He nodded,

"Alright I'm gonna start the grill" he stood and the boys followed like ducklings.

Landyn walked over and climbed up on Crystal's lap. He was telling us everything he and Calum did while we were away. He even told us how all the boys and he hung out together. What I gathered was that he was very spoiled. The kid got new toys, new shoes, watched movies and ate junk food all night.

The boys finished up dinner and we gathered around the outdoor table to eat. We were short one chair so Landyn was sitting on my lap eating. Landyn wasn't eating what we were. Most of us had steak and Landyn does not like steak. So Calum, being the amazing dad he is, made Landyn chicken nuggets and mac-n-cheese.
