Mina's POV

I woke up with a headache. It's like there's a huge rock over me. I literally drank 6 cans of beer last night.

I looked for my phone and it's full of missed calls and texts from Brenda and there's 1 text from Mathew. I didn't bother to read coz I'm still embarrassed and my head is throbbing like crazy.

I lazily got up.

It's alright 9:12am. And I still have so much work. I also have a meeting at 2pm.

I just want to quit sometimes. I don't even need that much money. All I care about is my dad's legacy. That's it.

I started my morning routine after drinking medicine for my headache. I'm not an alcoholic. I usually drink 1 glass of wine every night, that's it. And bcoz of what I witnessed last night. I really drank til I passed out while crying like crazy. And now my eyes are swollen.. Fuck.

I should not see Chaeyoung. Till I really move on. But she's my father's doctor. How can I do that?!

I sighed.

I just ate oatmeal for breakfast. And started my work. All I do now is through computer. Coz my office is in California. And Im in the other side of the country. I don't want to leave my father with my mom only.

I really hope my siblings stops rebelling coz I can't manage our businesses alone. It's fucking hard!

If only I didn't leave Mathew last night. I can date him and marry him and let him manage the businesses since he's a great businessman. But.. I just can't marry someone bcoz of business.. It stop when Garrett was convicted.

I made a coffee and then proceeded to my office.

My head is still aching but what can I do?

I sat on my chair when I noticed my phone. It has 1 message..

It's from an unknown number. Usually I ignore those kind of texts from unregistered numbers but this time I dunno but I clicked it.

"Hi, this is Chaeyoung. I got your number from your mom this morning. I was just wondering what happened to you last night. Are you okay?"

I can't helped but smile..

My heart is exploding from an uncanny feeling right now.

Should I text back?

Should I tell her she was actually the reason?
