Six of Crows Duology Fanfiction: Ketterdam's Secret

Chapter 19:

So today I thought I might do something different. Last night, I came up with an idea (its like a comparison and one shot?). I will be continuing with the plot today this is just for fun. Comment on the section you find the funniest of like the most. Also comment if you want more of this, I'm considering starting one for one-shots. 

Shadow and Bone Characters:

The Darkling: He's like a pool of black ink, cause you can't tell if he's really deep or kind of shallow, you know, like planning his black kefta to match his eyes. Big mood. Obvi a Slytherin. 

Alina: She's like a sarcastic beam of sunlight. Like those sun rays that a bright but kind of hurt your eyes. Your glad for her warmth anyways. She's a Gryffindor- shown by the way that she and Mal just ran off together in book one. 

Alarking One Shot: What if Mal died (cause Alina killed him) but she and the Darkling both lost their power? Their relationship is like lovers to enemies. 

Mal: He's like those Soulmate AU's when you don't find your soulmate until you hear their last words. That is because he doesn't realize that he likes Alina until she leaves. He's not a Gryffindor because he's actually not brave- he doesn't kill Alina even though he knows its the right thing. I guess he's a Hufflepuff: Hufflepuff takes all. 

Zoya: She's like water. She is needed for survival (of Ravaka), can be boiling mad or icy cold. She's Slytherin because she's so cunning and just so Zoya. 

Nikolai: Herring. His personality is very red herring like because not only does he love to eat herring but some people hate it (Alina hates herring) but some love it (Zoya?). Slytherin (he wants the throne, he gets it). 

Genya: She's like a stone statue. Like one of those white marble ones. Not only because she ahs white alabaster skin but because she can be stone cold:" I am not ruined, I am ruination." Gryffindor, shown by the way she stands up to the king. 

Ships: Alina and Mal= Titanic in the fandom. The fandom (sea of fans) doesn't like them.

Six of Crows: 

Inej: She's like those rays of sunlight in the afternoon, warm and quiet. You can see dust particles (things that happened to her) but still she shines through. You revere and adore her. She's a Gryffindor through her willingness to conquer her fears (stealing Tante Helen's diamond choker) but also a Hufflepuff through her loyalty to Kaz. But then she's also a Ravenclaw because she knows like everything about Ketterdam so....

Jesper: He's like fire because that smile's so bright and he flirts alot so. He's def a Gryffindor because he's willing to take chances and risks. 

Wesper Quote:" Stop lip locking with the flute, Wylan and start lip locking me. " Jesper most likely. 

*Wylan blushes*

Wylan: He's like wood because he burns so steadily. Does anyone else feel like he's really stable? That's why Jesper and him make such a good pair, they bring out the best in each other. Ravenclaw (so smart) and Gryffindor (he stood up to Van Eck [ and Kaz when they kidnapped Alys, don't tell me that doesn't take guts- oh and he lied to Kaz, even though Kaz knew, of course]

Mattias: He's like those hothouse flowers, so delicate and all even though he's a Fjerdan solider. He has feelings too! #Fjerdanmight He's a Hufflepuff. Enough said. Oh, and he can live in Hagrid's hut. 

I feel like I spelled Mattias' name wrong. 

Nina: She's like the ground, the dirt, the soil. Why? First, she gives Mattias the right opportunies to grow and blossom but she is always there for her friends. Very dependable. Like she's always there for Inej. That is a Hufflepuff trait but I feel like she also belongs in Gryffindor. 

Kaz: I though about him alot and he has multiple analogies: He's like water (even though eh hates it) because water is unpredictable. He gets into messes and places no matter how hard. He's like the water got into and that sunk the Titanic (Van Eck and Pekka Rollin's life). Ice cold and twice as unpredictable. Slytherin, Ravenclaw and Gringotts. 

Bonus: Kuwei: Assuming you pronounce his name in Chinese (I don't understand Mongloia and Google Translate doesn't help), Ku can mean bitter (he is pretty bitter about his life and his chances with Jes) and Wei can mean stomach. Google translate says it means Withered. He and Witherwings can be friends but he'd be too scared to fly. So he ends up in Hufflepuff by default. 

Also some Greek god references: 

Kanej= Hades and Persephone

Mattais and Nina= Zeus and Hera (but Nina is Zeus, flirting with everyone). 

Wesper= Apollo and the sun, Jesper is Apollo (flirts a lot "chick magnet" Rick Riordan why?) and Wylan's the sun (glowers at Kuwei).
