Chapter 14 - Eight Long Years Part 1

Previously:

"So what will you name your new born babies?" The doctor asked

"The girl will be named, Nashi Ashley Vermillion and the boy will be name Liddan Isaiah Vermillion." I told her.

She nodded and handed Zeref the birth certificates. At this moment I didn't think about Natsu, Fairy tail nor my duties and training, all I thought about was my children and as they both grabbed my thumbs I had shed a year of joy and I didn't want this moment to ever end.

After a year and a few months that Nashi and Liddan were born, I got back to my duties and training.

Right now I'm in the dragon realm and training with my doctor, Viridian the dragon of herbal remedies. I learned that Viridian isn't a fighter but more so a potion maker and healer. She's so calm and caring. Right now she's teaching me how to grow various herbs and informing me about all the plants that I have to revise. She had told me that once I'm able to grow every plant I would be able to create my own potions whether it be a poison, healer or enhancer.

I'm currently on a break from training with Xanadu the nature dragon who is teaching me how to grow various plants. After I master how I this I'll be able to manipulate these plants. I've already trained with Igneel, Metalicana and Grandeeney but I have many others I still need to train with like Weisslgoia the white dragon, Skiadrum the shadow dragon, Mercuphobia the water dragon god and others.

We've currently slowed the time as I'm training here but I don't be able to do that I the other realms.

~Time skip - 1 year in the dragon realm/ 4 months in magnolia~

I've learned every dragon and god dragon slayer magic and now I have to move on to another realm I'm sad to leave Nashi and Liddan.

"Mavis, do you think we could speed time up here so they can start to train soon aswell? I don't want them to be raised up with neither a mother or father." I explained.

"Lucy you need to train, and don't worry I can organise a video chat every night that you are training. Unfortunately it's best for us to do this." Mavis responded. I nod and gather my things then kiss Nashi's and Liddan's foreheads. "Lucy one more thing," I turn around, "here are the gate keys for each realm so in emergencies you can use them." She told me as a ring of keys were placed in my hands. All I do is smile and wave goodbye as I enter the portal that the fate had opened.

I ended up in the wolf realm in the same place Krysta and Lycan arrived when they first took me to Mavis and Zeref. I walk down the path as I take in the beauty of the forest. I kneel down to a plant that was having troubles blooming and helped it out. Soon I'm at the village and all I hear is...

"LULU!!!!" Krysta yelled as she ran and jumped on top of me as Lycan follows behind and helps me up then hugs me and I hug him back.

"Hey guys," I say with a smile. "So when do I start my training?"

"You start them tomorrow, 5 in the morning, don't be late." Lycan informed.

"But for now we can show you around and introduce you to everyone!" Krysta exclaimed. " Oh and no magic. The only magic you'll be allowed to use is wolf slayer magic, hehe."

"Alright, then lead the way." I told them as they dragged me from house to house, forest to forest and cave to cave. Later that day I stayed in their palace on the mountain above the fenced off caves to the other realms. I called home and watched over Nashi and Liddan fall asleep as Mavis read them a story, I couldn't help but smile and fall asleep too.

~time skip/the next day~

"TIME TO WAKE UP" Krysta yelled forcing me to wake up

"What time is it?" I muttered rubbing my eyes.

"It's 4:30 in the morning silly, come on, time to get up sleepy head." She explained with way too much enthusiasm for the morning.

"10 more minutes" I pleaded covering my face from the light with a pillow.

"Nope, time to wake up." Lycan told me as he took the pillow from me then left. After getting up I got changed and went down to the kitchen where Krysta and Lycan waited for me. Lycan gave me a plate of bacon, sausages and eggs. "You'll have to make your own food tomorrow." He informed me and I nodded and ate my food then followed the twin out to a forest.

"So what am I going to starting with?" I asked

"You'll be transforming into a wolf, that will determine your strong suits and weaknesses." Krysta explained making it seem so simple.

"Wrong, she's different from us. She hasn't grown up within these forest nor has she gotten used to creature magic." A woman said walking towards us.

"Hey mom," Lycan greeted as he and Krysta hugged her and she hugged them back.

"It's been a while, Lucy. Oh you've grown so much, and I hear that you have two bundles of joy back at home." The lady said. "Sorry, you mustn't remember me, I'm Rika, your aunt."

"Hello aunty. It's nice to see you too," I greet somewhat nervous.

"Well, you'll be training with us for a while, you'll be learning different creature magic such as wolf slayer, phoenix slayer, siren transformation, beast transformation, and others. For now we'll just help you get used to elemental wolf slayer magic, starting with ice with me."

"Ok, I look forward to it." I smiling.

"For phoenix slayer magic, your aunty and possibly cousins will teach you later." Rika informs me as I nod. And with that training started once again. During breaks Rika would ask me about Nashi and Liddan, I'm so glad that they're in my life, they make me so happy and that night I called them and didn't stop smiling.
