Episode 6

The scene begin with a Senior Higher officer annoyingly put the paper/ file he was referring, on the table then looks at Kim Taehyung, who's sitting across him.

"Did you find anything out?",

He asked as Taehyung looks down, slightly shook his head.

"Not yet. There is not enough evidence.",

The higher officer scoffs and Taehyung gasped.

"But, Sir I'm trying-",

"Don't you feel ashamed to say that, Officer Kim!",

The Senior Officer interrupt as Taehyung looks down.

"I hand over this particular case to you because of your father",

He looks back at the Senior Officer.

"Your father was our greatest example but unfortunately he was no longer able to continue, because he's not alive."

Taehyung blinks and looks down.

"Everyone felt bad about his lost but I didn't...you know why, because of you. When you joined the same department your father worked, I felt proud of you, believed you will become like him, work like him",

The Senior officer annoyingly smiled.

"But look at you, you can't even find one single evidence! Are you sure you want to become a Narcotics officer?! Do you know how many people are struggling to get this position?!",

Taehyung clenched his teeth and fists under the table.

"If you don't want to work, then quit! No one needs someone like you and I'm sure your father must be ashamed of you!",

"That's enough!",

The Senior officer caught off guard when Taehyung suddenly tapped the table and yelled at him. He then clenched his teeth.

"Do you AWARE WHO YOU'RE TALKING TO, OFFICER KIM?! Don't forget that you're talking with your Higher officer!",

Taehyung pants in angry, lit by lit looks down, clenched his fists, closed his eyes and trying to calm himself.

"I'm.. i'm sorry, Sir. Just..just give me 2 more weeks. I'll definitely catch them red handed, please",

Senior officer glanced away when Taehyung pleaded. He huffed then looks back at his junior.

"Fine. Only 2 weeks but if you fail again. I'm sorry I should pass this case to someone else! Keep that in your mind!",

He watched his Senior officer said then walking out of the room. He annoyingly hit the floor with his feet then groaned.

Taehyung went out to have some drink, also to calm his spoiled mood. While driving his phone rings. He bring his hand towards his ear and pressed his Bluetooth headset button to answer the call.

[Taehyung: Hello?]

[XXX: ....Are you okay?]

He sighed when heard the familiar voice.

[Taehyung:...I'm fine]

[XXX: Really? But you sounds-]

[Taehyung : What do you want, Jimin?]

[Jimin:...Tsk! What I want? Seriously? Remember you said today we're gonna have dinner together. So I'm waiting for you come home..]

Taehyung pressed the break and blinked then hissed himself for forgetting about their first dinner date.
