so. i wrote this because someone mentioned the "exes to lovers" trope on my timeline and it hit me that

1. i've never read a fic with this trope even though it's so full of potential and there's something so damn heartbreaking about it and about this whole "we were once in love but it didn't work out due to circumstances or misunderstandings so we grew apart and then we grew older and met again and oops! we fell in love again"

2. there's something ten times more heartbreaking about this trope applying to hyyh-verse vmon. you know they never get a happy ending in hyyh-verse but what if they do? what if it's a little bit different (aka Alternate Universe) and they end up having a good ending bc,, as they say, "everything will be okay in the end. if it's not okay, it's not the end"

what if they end up together despite everything bc they're meant to be? bc they're endgame?

so. yes. also: there are two jimins. park jimin our beautiful man n little kim jimin who's the star of the show, our pride n joy, n namjoon's daughter.
