"Higher ups?" Hyunwoo obviously didn't know

"The Wang family is a mafia family" Jackson cleared his confusion. Hyunwoo's face started to stiffen at the word mafia. Hyunwoo isn't really fond of the mafia especially ever since y/n's situation

"Mafia family?" Before Jackson could even respond Hyunwoo's phone started ringing. Hyunwoo reached for his phone and answered the call without checking the caller's id

"H-Hello?"

"Okay? Why are you stuttering?"

"Who's this?"

"Idiot. Check the caller's id before picking up"

"Oh wait-" he immediately looked at the caller's id and halts when he saw that it was y/n. He glanced at Jackson who was looking at him with a smile on his face

"Oh! Y/n! W-What made you call?" He stammered and he knew y/n would be confused as to why he's stuttering. Y/n would definitely doubt something's up

"Yeah...well I just wanted to see you"

"Right now!?" He panicked and glanced again at Jackson who still had the same expression earlier

"Woah chill, what are you getting all worked up for?"

"Well.." he bit his bottom lip

"Is that Y/n? I want to talk to her too" Jackson pouted and made the puppy eyes "Come on I want to talk to my little sister, she's not only your little sister but mine! Now don't be selfish and let me talk to her" Jackson said and was about to reach the phone away from him but he avoided that

"Are you with someone right now? Am I interrupting a meeting or something?"

"No...-ah erm I'm not free today. W-Well uh something came up and uh...it's important" he said while trying to yank Jackson's arms away that was trying to take his phone away from him to talk to Y/n

"More important than me?" Hyunwoo started to feel guilty to not be with Y/n when she needs him. He's sure that she's having a hard time right now, especially since she got herself involved with people in the mafia. Y/n laughed to break the silence that was erupting

"Anyways! If you're busy then maybe next time" she says and before hyunwoo could even respond y/n had already ended the call.

Hyunwoo sighed and looked at the black screen of his phone "Awww why did you end the call? I haven't even talked to her yet" Jackson said through a baby voice

"Look, I think it's best to not yet tell y/n about this" Hyunwoo suggested which made Jackson tilt his head

"Why?"

"Wow, you're in a mafia family but you don't know anything about what's happening. Anyways, five years ago y/n accidentally slept with a mafia boss but she escaped and she was pregnant" he explained

"Mafia boss? Who?" Jackson asked as his bubbly expression from earlier started disappearing

"Hwang Hyunjin" Hyunwoo said. Jackson's face turned into a serious one and leaned back on his chair, Jackson crossed his legs again as he became silent
