"How was school?" You asked and the door of the limo closed behind him as he got in. He sat in between you and hyunjin

"It was great! I had fun and I also told my friends about dad!" He said, you'd never seen him this happy before. If I didn't run away back then would my son be as happy as he is now?

The limo started its engine and started to move "Mommy are we going to the park? Let's have ice cream again at the park mommy!" He said

"I don't know your dad might be tired and wants to go home to res-"

"Sure" hyunjin suddenly spoke out of the blue which made my head instantly look at him but he wasn't looking at you guys. He was just looking outside

"Yay!" Sam chimes

A few minutes later you guys arrived at the park and such a fancy car stopping at a random park attracts many people's attention. Hyunjin was about to go out but you stooped him by grabbing his arm

"Aren't you going to get recognized by the people?" You asked and he smirked at you

"Even if they recognizes me they won't dare to lay a finger on me" he said and you let go of his arm

"Okay then" you said and avoided his gaze, the bodyguards opened the car door for you and sam went out with you. Sam ran to the swings and started to play

"Are we just gonna watch him until he gets bored and decides to go home?" Hyunjin asked while his hands are in his pockets and not looking at you

"Nope, we're buying ice cream while he plays there- oh if you don't want to then I can just go al-" you got caught of by him when he suddenly walks away, you were confused and when he noticed you weren't with him he turned around

"Why are you just standing there? Come on" he said and walked away. Confused, but you still followed him

You stopped by the Ice cream stall at the corner and greeted the man with a smile "hello!" When he saw you he smiled widely

"Oh! It's you again! I was worried because you didn't come back with your son yesterday but now you're here!" He said and smiled at you. You giggled at him

"Well something happened" you said

"But who's this young man beside you?" He asked and you looked at hyunjin who was giving the man a cold look like he always does. You turned back to the man and smiled

"He's just a friend"

"I'm her son's father"

Your eyes widened and you turned to him with your eyebrows raised and your mouth was opened a little. You weren't expecting him to say that

"Oh so he's your husband!" Your eyes even went more wide with what he just said but he doesn't seem to notice that and made our ice cream "here you go! The usual" he said and handed your ice cream

There was mint ice cream for sam and cookies and cream for you

"What about you? What flavor would you like?" The man asked hyunjin

"What's the ingredients of your ice cream? Did you made this by yourself? Is this safe to eat? Are there no bacterias in this ice cream?" You almost wanted to curse at him for asking that kind of offending questions at him

"Isn't that kind of offensive?" You said through gritted teeth

"I'm just asking. If we get sick because of this man I'm killi-" you dragged hyunjin away and smiled at the man

"He's allergic to ice cream" you said and gave the man a fake smile then immediately dragged hyunjin away before he could say anything

"What is wrong with you?" You asked and he just gave you a cold look, again, like he always does.

"What?"

"Have you never tried eating ice cream on an ice cream stall at a park?" he shook his head and you mentally faced palmed

"I've eaten ice cream but the ice cream company personally delivers it to me showing me that it's safe to eat" he said which made you scoffed. Is he that rich? You were jealous and angry at the same time

He's just gives you mixed feelings

"You know what? Forget it let's just go back to sam-" you stopped when you saw all of the bodyguards at the ground all beaten up. Yanai got up and bowed at hyunjin

"Young master! Some group of guys with steel bats attacked us and I'm afraid they... they took sam with them" your hands let go of the ice cream and it drops to the ground

You can't believe with what you were hearing, you didn't know how to react, you didn't know what to do. Your son just got kidnapped and you couldn't do anything to save him you couldn't protect him like what a mother does

Are you really a mother?

You can't even protect your child at a time like this how can you call yourself a mother? You started to breath heavily and gulped multiple times

"Don't worry..." you slowly looked at hyunjin who wasn't looking at you "I'll surely get him back" he slowly looked at you
