(The name in this poem has been changed...)
The end of an era
Is finally here,
Mr Corley is leaving us.
That's no cause to cheer!
What with blue sky thinking
And countless graphs,
I have to be honest
We've had a few laughs.
Supportive and charming,
Demanding but fair,
I still can't believe
He's shocked when I swear!
I don't know if his time here
Is one he will treasure,
But for me working with Alan
Has been a real pleasure.
So goodbye and farewell
And from me a big thank you,
For making me realise
There's nothing I can't do.
Good luck for the future
Whatever it brings.
May you go on to do fabulous
Wonderful things.
