I go down and see James wearing a suit. I make a face at him. And he makes a face back. There were some desks set up. I sat down at one. "Alright students, lets begin class", Janes says in a strict manor. There was a math book on my desk. "Page 11 please", he said. I turn to page 11.

"Read it please", James says. I do so. What r Positive and Negative numbers, James rights on the chalkboard they had up. Was James actually teaching me or is this a joke? We continued n to the lesson and I found it very funny. They had picture in the text book like:

We then did the Opposites of Opposites Property and if I remember correctly it is that the opposite of the opposite of a number is itself. Then they had this funny doodle:

We then had a little quiz on it. By now it had already been at least three hours. One more until lunch. I was starting to get hungry. "Alright final topic before lunch", James says in his strict voice. "We are starting Absolute Values", he says. He started to preheat and I started drifting off. "Alright Y/N was the absolute value of |-67|", James asks me. I think. I look at my book and realize what it was. "67", I say. "Correct", he replies.
I'll save y'all the trouble of looking it up an absolute value is a numbers distance from zero on a number line. So for instance negative 67 is 67 (only if the negative is not outside the |).
We continue for another ten minutes before we break for lunch. I had some salad. We did another two hours and James just taught me about absolute values and started Greatest Common Factors. The day was pretty usual other than that. Nathan told me that they were going to be doing that for a little while, which I understood. Hopefully I get the hang of it!
