Evangeline walked slowly. Her hair was hidden by a hoodie and she dressed in normal clothing so she could blend in with the crowd. Part of her mission was to keep an eyes on Steve Rogers. One of her soulmates.
She had remembered and she knew if she mentioned that she did, or if it slipped up that she did, that she would be forced to forget him again. Forced for forget everyone.

Evangeline had never been to the museum. It was out of the way and there was just too many people in her opinion. Her mind was racing with random thoughts of strangers. It was loud in her brain and she didn't know how to shut it off.
She spotted him from afar. His baseball hat didn't do much to hide his identity, she could tell immediately it was him.

She followed him from a decent distance. One where she knew she would be unseen by him. She held back to urge to rush up and hug him. To tell him that she was all right and that she remembered. But she knew she couldn't. Not without the consequences that hung over her head if she messed up.

She followed him around the museum for a while. As she did, she couldn't help but read the stories and information as they pass the Caption America exhibit. She noticed the only pictures of Steve and Bucky and she let herself smile softly.
However, when she shook her head and focused, she cursed herself as she lost sight of Steve. Looking around, she finally caught him.

Following behind him, she took a seat a few rows behind him. The screen showed of Peggy Carter talking about their days in the war.

Steve had told Evangeline about the woman that was speaking. Her memory of her was foggy, but from what she understood, she meant quite a lot to Steve and she was glad that he had someone like that.

When she watched Steve get up and leave after, she decided to meet up with The Winter Soldier. Then, together, they would resume their mission.

Don't engage. That was her order. Don't talk to them, don't follow them, never leave Bucky's side. But as they got out of the trucks and started fighting, as each of the gun man got taken down by Sam, even by Natasha, Evangeline couldn't help but worry about her soulmates.
She felt the pain. Their pain. Every time they got hit, or shot at, she felt it. That's why she stayed behind. That's why she was getting slower. She couldn't focus. She still helped though, killing anyone that got in her way of taking down the others who were shorting at either her or her soulmates. She kept an eye on Bucky as he and Steve battled it out.

However, as soon as she watched Natasha get shot in the shoulder, she let out a grunt as she felt it. Loading up a new gun, she rushed as she made her way over to Natasha.
