Beach boy (pt. II)

Part 2, to the previous oneshot

You pushed open your front door with so much force the hinges nearly gave way. You were angry. Today  was just one of those days where nothing seemed to go your way. You yelled to your mum signalling your return and then stormed up the stairs to your room. Sensing your mood, your mum knew to give you space and didn't follow you up. You slammed your door shut and fell on your bed, crying.

Today was the worst day of your life.

Your alarm clock never rang and you were late to school. On your way, in your rush, you tripped and fell cracking your phone screen.

Then on your way into school you walked into the wall misjudging the distance. The school gossip monger Flash Gray just happened to be near by with his phone on record.

By the time first period had started the whole school had seen the dumb GIF he had made of it. And you were pissed at his dumb face.

At lunch the lunch lady decided your white converse shoes were too clean and dropped a part of the lunch she was serving on them.

In science after that, you realised you had just lost 10 marks because you left your homework at home.

Great! Wonderful, is it not? Smashing end to the week. Not to mention the countless trolling texts and calls you received from your school mates who had nothing better to do. You were sick and tired of it, and briefly you pitied the people who had to go through this everyday. After a little more moping you'd scored you were getting no where and decide to take a nap. Or more like you fell asleep.

About an hour later you woke up to the sound of your phone's text alerts you going off. Reaching over you picked up your phone to see and unknown number texting you. You clicked on the messages and smiled. It was Percy.

*(Percy)  **(you)

Percy: *Hello!
             *This is Percy.
             * You know, the great footballer from the beach.
             * The cute guy.
You laughed at his texts and replied

**Hey there Percy!
**Has anyone told you that you're mighty humble?
*They tried Y/N, but I was too busy worrying about my reflection to care.
        You laughed out loud.
*Anyways, nevermind me and my handsome reflection, I'm kinda bored right now, and you know since we haven't spoken in sometime, and was wondering if you want to like to out for the evening or something? I mean I fully understand if you can't or don't want to as today is Friday and you may other plans, but I mean if you wanna...?
**Of course I will Percy! I'm totally free, what time should I meet you? And where should I meet you?
   *That's great, I was thinking maybe we could go to the cafe and then for a walk? I could pick you up in maybe half an hour?
**Sounds good to me!
You texted him your address and then logged of to get ready. About 25 minutes later you were decked out in (outfit of choice) and ready to go. You grabbed your phone and told your mum you were leaving.

You headed out the door just in time to see Percy walk in front of your gate. You waved out to him and walked towards him grinning.

"So there's the Y/N signature grin!" He said, also smiling. You laughed. You seemed to be doing that a lot lately around Percy.

"So shall we go? Or are you just going to stand there grinning at me? I mean I know I'm pretty hot and everything, but we're supposed to going to the cafe..." You hit him on the shoulder and then grabbed his hand and walked towards the cafe with him keeping pace next to you.

About 5 minutes later you guys got there and ordered your stuff in a takeaway cup, laughing and joking. The rest of the evening went the same way, you guys talking about random stuff, and laughing at the funny nonsense. Maybe today wasn't so bad after all. In fact you enjoyed Percy's company so much, that when you guys rounded the corner to your house you briefly considered kidnapping him and taking him home, though you doubted he'd appreciate it. In the end you both said goodbye to each other and went your separate ways with smiles on your faces.

That night he texted you goodnight and offered to take you out another time. I think it was safe to say you agreed immediately. And didn't sleep at all that night.
