Green Eyes.

My eyes fluttered open to the sound of conversation. In my cabin, it wasn't rare for my half-siblings to be up early, debating camp matters, having discussions, brainstorming or maybe just keeping to themselves by reading or writing.

The Athena cabin was always up well before the breakfast horn.

My gaze sharpened to see a familiar austere expressionsed grey owl glaring down at me. My bunk was the only one in the cabin with that annoying owl on the ceiling above it and I'd been given the bunk because I had been the newbie. Overtime, I'd gotten used to it, but on some days, such as this one, I really wished I'd see something better in the morning.

A moment later, a face framed by blonde curls appeared in my vision. Annabeth was grinning and mischief was dancing in her silver-grey eyes and immediately, I knew she'd been upto something.

"What have you done, now, sister mine?"

"I rigged Luke's bunk with foghorns!"

Of course she did. Ever since camp golden boy Luke had returned after the battle of Manhattan, he and Annabeth had been inseparable. Insufferable also, but mostly inseparable. Annabeth had found it some where in her heart to forgive him, and they'd been dating ever since.

I was happy for Annabeth of course. She'd liked Luke for a very long time, and he'd been treating her okay. But I still didn't like letting my guard down around him.

"Come on! He'll be up in a few minutes! Let's go see!"

I sat up with a groan, wanting nothing more to collapse back into my pile of pillows and recall the amazing dream I was having.

Nevertheless, out of unconditional love for my half-sister, I dragged myself out of bed and got dressed.

Then, the two of us snuck out and crouched below the window of the Hermes cabin.

"3... 2... 1... Now!" Annabeth and I stood up just in time to hear the foghorns going off and the entire Hermes cabin descending into chaos. And though I wasn't Luke's biggest fan, I had to admit he had a very cute expression on his face when he bolted upright.

Annabeth and I burst into peals of laughter. Immediately, Luke's head swivelled to face us, and a bright grin made its way onto his face.

"I'm going to get you for this, Annabeth!"

I let my eyes linger on Luke for a moment, taking in the sheer adoration he seemed to have for Annabeth and for a moment, I thought that maybe even I could forgive him somewhere down the line.

I was jolted from my thoughts my a sudden weight crashing into me followed by an alarmed bleat.

"Ouch, Grover!"

"I'm sorry, y/n! I didn't see you there. I just came to investigate the noise before Chiron could."

I snickered quietly.

"You're gonna be dead, Ann."

Annabeth rolled her eyes with a grin. "I'll figure it out."

A hand extended to help me up and I accepted it immediately, thinking it was probably Grover.

The strong arm pulled me up a little too hard and sent me crashing into a solid chest. Suddenly, the smell of the ocean surrounded me, and I looked up into a pair of sea green eyes, and it was only then did I realise who'd picked me up.

"Percy!" I exclaimed, stumbling away from him with a blush forming on my face.

"Hello, y/n!" Percy said brightly. "Are you okay?"
