Hermione's P.O.V

When reading one of the books on Greek mythology I came across a section, dedicated to Demigods, the children of a god and a mortal. As I was reading it I realized that if Percy and Annabeth had any connection to Greek mythology this would be it. When I had told Ron and Harry they wouldn't listen.

"That's impossible." Ron had said.

"Yeah, they're just myths." Harry followed.

"So are wizards." I pointed out.

I insisted that we at least checked into it and finally they conceited. When they left for their walk last night was when we researched it for the first time.

"So think about it," I said, "They're both athletic, they both speak greek, and they both have a Greek parent."

"So?" Asked Ron.

I pulled open the book where I found the section and turned it towards them. I pointed to the description.

"Most of the heroes in Greek mythology were believed to be demigods, the half mortal children of the gods. Among the traits of demigods were athleticism, good looks, and unusual powers and characteristics according to their godly parent." I quoted as they read along.

"What about the Greek speaking thing?" Harry asked.

"Percy and Annabeth are American so they already speak English, but because the gods are Greek they would've inherited that trait too." I explained.

"Ok fine," Ron said throwing his hands in the air, "Let's say they're demigods. Who's they're godly parent?"

I bit my lip. "That's what I'm not sure about. We know that for Annabeth it's her mom and for Percy it's his dad but that's it." I answered.

"We could just ask them." Harry suggested.

Ron snorted. "Yeah that'll go well. Hi guys, let's say hypothetically you were half gods. If you were, who would your parent be?" He mocked.

I rolled my eyes. "Well, we know they're demigods-"

"Think. We think they're demigods." Ron cut off.

I sighed frustrated. "Fine. We think they're demigods but we don't know why they're here." I continued.

"They could be Death Eaters." Harry said.

"He might be right on this one. It would explain what's on Percy's arm." Ron agreed.

"He's not a Death Eater!" I exclaimed.

"You're only saying that because you like him." Rom accused.

"I do not!" I felt my face burn. "Besides did you see that drawing before you pointed it out."

"Well, no. But, he could be using a spell to hide it." Harry said.

"If a spell could hide the dark mark wouldn't all Death Eaters use it when they're in public? And Annabeth doesn't have one." I pointed out.

"You're just defending him because you-"

"For the last time I do not like him!" I shouted. "Anyway, we need to be careful around them. What the book also says is that demigods are very dangerous so we need to be careful."

Harry's P.O.V

I understand the need for Percy and Annabeths warning about Leo only after 30 minutes with him. He was like a ticking time bomb just waiting to explode.

I tried to look for the demigod characteristics Hermione described. I hadn't asked him if he too spoke Greek and I didn't know about the Greek parent thing but I could tell he was athletic. He may skinny but he was muscular.
