chapter eleven.

december 21st

i walked by myself around the school yard looking for shoto when i heard mei's voice.

"I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL CHRISTMAS!" mei yelled as she jumped onto bakugo. his face turned in annoyance.

"run away. now." bakugo said she held him tight.

"mei..come here." nia said embarrassed by her friends actions.

"coming!" mei yelled happily flying into nia.

i was so confused with their interaction i didn't even notice shoto held a small box while he walked up to me.

"what do you have there todoroki?" i asked making him smile.

"well wouldn't you like to know garcia?"

"yes i would now show me-" i said as i reached for the box.

shoto moved the box above his head.

"like i can't reach that? you're not tall."

he laughed slightly as i snatched the box from his hands.

"i'll show you." he said taking the box from me and just as he was about to open the box the bell rang.

shotos face fell and he sighed.

"maybe next time?" i said and began to walk with nia.

nia smiled as shoto waved.

"how's you and kaminari?" i asked wanting to make conversation.

"we're not together?" nia said as she flicked through pages of her sketch book.

i wonder if she has a hidden talent. like singing. 

DEMON TIME

"hey, do you by any chance sing?"

nia stopped dead in her tracks.

"no. never. ever. i draw though." she raised her sketchbook to my face.

"i see."

she nodded.

"can i see your schedule?"

she then handed me a piece of folded up paper from her pocket.

i searched for her fifth period to find music and almost yelled when i found it.

'5th period- music, room 345'

"see you in music nia." i smiled and stuck her schedule back into her pocket.

let the games begin
