I smile at him as he leaves the room, why do I keep on smiling when I'm near him? I can tell that whoever is on the other line is making him either upset or angry, and so I go to check on him.

Luke's POV

I really wish my mom hadn't called me because Julie was cuddling me the entire time. But because it's my mom I answer the call as soon as I'm out of the room.

*On call*

Luke italics, Emily underlined.

Hi mom.

Luke where are you? You have stayed out past your curfew, come home now!

Why? I'm at the Molina's. We're watching tv.

Lucas James Patterson!! You get home this instant!!

*Off call*

I hang up before she adds anything else because I see Julie walking towards me.

"Hey Lukey, you ok?"

"I'm fine."

I walk past her and into the living room.

"Alex can you give me a lift home?"

"Sure man."

I grab my stuff while Alex grabs his keys and rush out the door. But I guess we weren't fast enough because once we're in the car, I close my eyes for a split second and, the only thing I can see is Julie's upset face. I start beating myself up mentally, but Alex stops me after a while because if I keep on going then I'll end out punching something or someone in real life.

"Luke calm down." Alex says. "What's up? Why were you in such a rush to leave?"

"Just drive, take me home."

"Ok. On two conditions."

"Uh-oh. What are the conditions?"

"First... uh actually, there's only one condition."

"What is it?"

"You have to answer a few questions."

"Hit me."

He starts the car and heads towards my house taking the long route so that there's more time for questioning. Help me.

"Do you like Jules?"

"Why?"

"Something must have happened for you two to be cuddling like that during Vampire Diaries."

"Fine. I like her ok?"

"I knew it!! You two are so cute together." he says. 

After a minute silence he ask the question I don't know if I should answer.

"Did something happen between you two?"

I get my phone out so I can text Jules before answering and he doesn't notice.

*On messages*
