Things have been complicated since then. Now, my plausible argument regarding Raven's death is indeed plausible.

The abduction of Divine Marquez and the death of Raven is possibly related to each other. I always and strongly refused that she suicided. Now that I saw that mysterious initials, my system is eagerly to complete and discover every missing piece of a puzzle.

"Checkmate."

"Ugh! You're always winning!" reklamo ko sabay sandal sa hospital bed.

"Blame yourself. You're not focusing on the game. Want another round?" Mc asked while smirking in a mischievous way.

I'm in hospital for checkup. Since it's lunch time and Mc doesn't have much beans on his sleeve, so we played a Japanese chess game or Game of Generals—Shogi

I roll my eyes. "Nah. I still have work," I refused then I stood up. "I gotta go. It's already quarter to twelve."

"All right. Come back next week. Do not ditch," he said emphasizing the latter while pointing his index finger to me.

"Okay, okay," I said then bid my goodbye.

I came back to hq through my motorcycle. When I remove my helmet, I saw Captain, Gabby and Charlie outside approaching a Wagon vehicle.

"Captain! Where are you guys going?" tawag ko sa atensiyon nila. They're all look at me in unison.

"Lieutenant!" malakas na sabi ni Charlie na parang ngayon lang kami nagkita. He even grinned while waving his both hands.

He's hyper as ever.

"We're going to talk to the family of a victim," sagot ni Captain.

"Really? I'll come," I said.

After I put my helmet in a safety store, I draw myself near them. Captain is on the driver's seat while I am on the shotgun seat and those two are in the back.

When we arrived at the certain place, I can't stop myself but to roam my eyes around. There are so many kids playing traditional games on the street. They're beaming innocently as if they had no broblems at all.

I do miss my boy. I sighed on that thought.

We walked on a slender passageway with stench canals until we arrived at a small house, but will do the purpose as a shelter.

We are wearing civilian clothing since it's necessary.

"Tao po." It's Gabby while knocking the door. He said it twice until a late 40s man come out. "Dito ho ba yung bahay ni Allan Marquez?"

"Dito nga. Ako 'yon. Anong sadya niyo rito?" he asked. His brows furrowed making the small folds on his face appears more visible.

I looked at the doorway and I saw a little girl peeking in shyness. I smile when her eyes darted at mine. She then hid on the wall then peeked again.

"Nais lang ho sana namin kayong makausap tungkol sa mga nangyari bago nawala ang asawa ninyo," magalang na sabi ni Gabby.

Pinapasok niya kami sa loob ng bahay nila. I sat on a single bamboo chair across Captain, while Charlie and Gabby are sitting across each other.

A young lady offered us a coffee for each of us. It smells like kapeng barako. The aroma suddenly makes me feel the experience I had with my dad while we were on a balcony sipping to our own coffee.

The people and the things here are giving me a feeling of missing my loved ones. I can't wait to see them. I hope things would be going smoothly so I can visit them once in awhile.
