The daughter of shota Aizawa

Part 12

Seiki POV
Midnight is standing on the stage about to explain how the 1v1 battles will go, when Ojiro speaks out,

"I want to eliminate myself from the tournament"

Midnight looks just as surprised as all of us,

"Now why would you want to do that"

She asks Ojiro, who himself looks a bit confused,

"During the Calvary battle I couldn't even remember how it ended, like I was there then I wasn't so that is why I feel like I shouldn't proceed"

There are multiple "oohs" in the audience, I myself is shocked could it have been someone's quirk that made him forget, but who was on his team.

"I also want to eliminate myself"

A girl from class b says,

"I got frozen by that ice and barely did anything in the Calvary battle so there is no way I deserve to proceed"

She explains, which leads to multiple other students dropping out, midnight nods and continues to explain the next part,

"You will go up against another student, and fight them, to win you either have to push them out of bounds or they give up and cannot fight any more"

I nod my head this shouldn't be too hard, I'm fairly confident in my skills, I look at deku who himself looks determined,

"Hey deku, good luck"

He looks at me and smiles,

"You too seiki"

I find myself also smiling, I look at Todoroki who looks conflicted.
I then look at the screen which shows who will fight first, it shows deku and...shinsou, a boy from 1-c

We all make our ways to the stands while the two fighters get themselves ready, I see Todoroki come to the stands last so I decide to sit with him,

He looks at me and nods his head, something must've really shaken him up during the Calvary battle,

"So Todoroki how do you think you'll do in their part of the tournament?"

I look over as I ask him, he starts by looking at the ground then his eyes drift to look at his left hand, to eventually look me in the eyes,

"I truly believe no I know I'll win"

I'm shocked, I swear I look dumbfounded, he's so confident that he will excel at this tournament,

"What makes you so confident"

He doesn't even look at me,

"I have the power and ability to do so"

He honestly sounds a bit like bakugo, I decide not to press anymore since the fight is about to start,

Deku starts walking out so does shinsou, they both enter the arena,

"Midoryia look don't answer any question he asks that's his quirk"

Ojiro shouts out to deku, I look over in his direction,

"What does that mean, is it telepathic"

I say thinking aloud, I hear Ojiro explain to some of our class mates but I'm too focused on what deku is going to do,

When I looked back I see midoryia, not moving they are just talking, neither of them seem to have made a move. Until deku proceeds to walk over to shinsou....and straight past him.

All of us in the audience were shocked, was he just giving up.

"Hey deku what are you doing!"

I scream out to him, i know it's a contest but he's my friend and I want him to succeed past the first fight at least, I see a few of my classmates yelling out to him but he's just not having any reaction.

Until he stops just before crossing the boundary line, which then deku turns around and runs at shinsou punching him, but it looked like shinsou wasn't giving up either, they exchange quite a few punches until finally deku wins.

A lot of us cheer for him, I see him smile, I'm so glad he won.

Midnight goes to announce the next two students who will fight,

"The fight student is Shoto Todoroki, and Seiki Aizawa"

....what I have to fight against Todoroki

I felt very inspired to write this chapter, since I received a very nice comment which actually made me feel more confident in my writing. So I again thank that person it meant so much to me.
