It was a normal rainy day at the tower. Tony was working on Friday's features and the whole team was training except me. I'm not allowed to train with them for a while because the last time wasn't such a delight. I accidentally broke Thor's arm and Clint's finger. Rhodes sprang his ankle. Steve twisted his wrist. I broke Peter's big toe. And almost killed Nat. So no training for me. Steve is off picking someone up. I don't really pay attention to the red white and blue flag. I read like three words in my book until I heard Sam scream my name. Ugh. We have a love hate relationship. We're like siblings. I'm his little sister and he's my big brother. But not blood related. I walked downstairs and he said- how do you turn on the oven.
Me- for someone like 68 years older I thought you'd know
Sam- hey I'm 34 so cool it
I rolled my eyes and said- what are you making
Sam- chocolate cake
Me- ooooh
Sam- yeah so how do you turn it on
Me- press bake, temp 375, and then bake again
Sam- thanks
Me- yup
Sam- how long
Me- 30 minutes
I walked around the tower and got bored. I slipped on my shoes and walked outside. I sat out by the pool in a t-shirt and some shorts. A little later I heard someone yell my name. I looked back and seen Steve with another guy. He had a metal arm and looked confused. He had the most gorgeous eyes. I got up and walked towards Steve.
Steve- what are you doing
Me- sitting by the pool
Steve- your going to get sick
Me- I got bored
Metal arm- who is she
Steve- oh this is Yn
I stuck my hand out for a handshake but he hesitated and looked at Steve.
Steve- he doesn't trust easily
Me- that's cool
Steve- Bucky this is Yn shes friendly
I gave him a warm smile and said- we should get inside before we all get sick
Steve- yeah
We all walked inside and Sam said- cake is done
Me- great
I walked into the kitchen and helped him decorate.
Tony- Yn go change your wet
Thor- eww
Me- seriously
Thor- what
I rolled my eyes and Steve said- Yn can you show Bucky to one of the guest bedrooms
Me- of course. Follow me
He didn't move. I walked towards him and grabbed his hand.
Me- you can trust me I won't hurt you. I promise
He nodded and we walked upstairs. I gave him a little tour and then got him to his room.
Bucky- thank you
Me- yup
I started walking to my room when I heard him say- is there any plums
Me- no but I can go to the super market and buy some
He nodded and I walked to my room. I took off all my clothes and shoes. I dried myself and changed into some sweat pants and a t-shirt. I threw on some socks and put my glasses on. I walked out of my room and seen Bucky.
Bucky- wheres Steve
Me- I'll go get him
I walked downstairs and seen Steve with Sam.
Me- Steve
Steve- what
Me- Bucky's asking for you
Steve- alright
He walked upstairs and Sam said- so the cake is a no go
Me- why
Tony- Thor ate it all
Me- YOU ASGARD MOTHER-
Steve- language
I turned around and Bucky was with Steve. I flipped Steve off and said- shove your language up your mother-
Tony- enough
Steve- Yn show Bucky around the rest of the tower
Me- okay
I grabbed a big ass cookie and said- come on
We walked around and I showed him around.
Me- want some
Bucky- yes
I gave half and he said- thank you
I nodded and said- that pretty much it
A siren went off and tony got on the intercom- everyone report to the front suites up except Yn and Steve's friend
Me- oh horse shit (Adam Sandler vibes)
Bucky- what
Me- I can't go on missions because I accidentally hurt most of the team durning training
Bucky- what
Me- I broke Thor's arm, peter's big toe, Clint's finger, I nearly killed nat, I sprang Rhodes' ankle and Steve's wrist
Bucky- wow
Me- it was by accident in my defense
He laughed and said- you know, your not as bad as Steve said
I giggled and he said- what do we do now
Me- watch a movie? Go in the pool? Indoor jacuzzi? Bowling? Cook? Or we could go buy plums for you
Bucky- I don't know it looks pretty ugly outside
Me- suit yourself
Bucky- why don't we just go to the jacuzzi
Me- I'll go get changed meet you down here in 5
Bucky- yeah
I ran upstairs and got in a bathing suit. It showed a little more than you'd like but nat picked all of your out. It was black showing side boob. Your bottoms were literally a thong. You put a t-shirt over and walked downstairs with your computer. You waited for Bucky and when he finally walked down he some shorts on and a shirt.
Me- shirt?
Bucky- I don't like my arm
Me- I get that
Bucky- you?
Me- Natasha bought me all my bathing suits and they show a lot more than I'd like so yeah
Bucky- oh
Me- yeah
We walked to the jacuzzi room and got in.
Me- I'll take my shirt off if you take yours off
Bucky- deal
He took his off and got in. I was amazed by his whole arm.
Bucky- what
Me- your arm is just so cool
He smiled and I got in the water and then took off my shirt. I grabbed my computer and sat it down closer to the edge but not too close.
Me- wanna watch a movie
Bucky- sure
Me- there's just married, honey I shrunk the kids, grown ups, Madea's family funeral, and the purge
Bucky- I've never seen any of them
I put my hand over my heart and gasped.
Me- we have to have a movie marathon tonight
Bucky- sounds fun
Me- great
He swam over to me and sat down. I picked grown ups and sat down next to him. We watched the movie until the power went out. Which meant the team wouldn't be able to get in. Not that they would be back today or tomorrow. Friday was down. And so we're the generators.
Bucky- what the hell.
My lap top froze and turned off.
Me- damnit
I stood up and got out.
Bucky- where are you going
Me- to try and fix the generator
I walked out of the jacuzzi room and tried to find my way to the lab.
