Btw, time works differently during your dream state.

Y/n's POV (Dream State)

The rest of that night I couldn't stop thinking about Natasha or the weird sounds I heard but mostly Natasha. Her big green eyes and long red hair and that corset, oh god. It was about 3 in the morning so I went out to the balcony to clear my head but from my view I could see her ship which only made the hunger for her grow.

"Your Majesty? Shouldn't you be in bed?" said a familiar voice from behind me. It was Natasha.

"Shouldn't you be on a ship?" I asked.

"Yes, as a matter of fact, we were supposed to leave dock tonight but...I couldn't get a certain princess out of my head." she replied.

"Don't you mean Queen?" I said and walked towards her stopping only when I had her pinned against the wall.

"Her title may be Queen but she'll always be a princess to me." she said.

"Well, if I'm the princess that makes you the prince of this story. So tell me, what are you saving me from?" I teased.

"A night of boredom." she replied and grabbed my collar and pulled me into a deep kiss. After a few minute make out session on the balcony we took it to the bed, from there the night only escalated.

When I woke up the next morning Natasha was gone with no note or sign that she had ever been there in the first place. I put on my robe and went out to the balcony to see if her ship was there but it was gone.

"It wasn't with knives my heart he tore, when he brought me to death's door. It wasn't his hands that had me slain- but he had killed me all the same. Cold and callous with no remorse, he turned me into a walking corpse. And I am imprisoned in this pain, while he without the slightest blame- free to do it over again." I mumbled the poem that was invading my thoughts and felt perfect for this moment.

There was a knock on my door, "Your Majesty, are you awake?" I heard Jack's voice.

"Coming." I said as I walked over and opened the door. "What's up?"

"Happy birthday, your Majesty." Jack said and handed me a small box.

"Oh please, there's no need for gifts." I insisted.

"You know sometimes you need to be more open minded. Just take the box." Jack said.

"Fine." I said. I took the little box and opened it revealing a beautiful anklet with a spider pendant. "Go for the ankles." I whispered to myself.

"What was that?" Jack asked.

"Nothing." I said, confused on why that had popped into my head. "I love it, thank you."

"What do you plan on doing with your day?" Jack asked.

"No meetings today?" I asked.

"No, your Majesty. The day is all yours." he smiled.

"Well," I sighed surprised. "I guess I'll go for a walk through town and see where the day takes me."

"That sounds peaceful. Do you want to journey alone or have someone accompany you?" he asked.

"I'll go alone. I need to think about some things anyway." I said referring to my sudden one night stand that no one knew about.

"I guess I'll you you to it then. Have a happy birthday, y/n." Jack said and went to walk away.

"Hey, Jack?" I asked and he turned around to face me. "You should ask Emily on that amazing date you keep talking about. Think of it as a second birthday present for me."

"A birthday present or a command?" he joked.

"Both." I joked back.

"As you wish." he said and walked away. I closed the door and got dressed for the day in my usual outfit. Not gonna lie waking up to see Natasha had left made me a bit sad but I didn't stress on it because I don't really know her so I shouldn't make a big deal of it.

As I was on my walk through the town a little voice inside my head kept chanting "be nicer".

"Be nicer?" I mumbled. The voice stopped when I reached the docks. "So, this is where the day took me? Isn't that lovely?" I asked sarcastically.

"Your Majesty, happy birthday!" one of the Captain's greeted me.

"Thank you, Smith." I said.

"Tell me, what brings you to the docks on this special day? Looking for a short boat ride or to travel?" he asked.

"No, actually, I don't know why I'm here. I've been walking through town to see where I would end up and I ended up here." I explained.

"Maybe you're looking for someone." he suggested.

"Well I can't imagine who I mean-well maybe but they're already gone." I said.

"Maybe not. Who is it you might be looking for?" Smith said and grabbed the docking log.

"I doubt she'd use her real name so I'm not sure." I said.

"In love with a fugitive is it?" the captain teased.

"Of course not...well she's not a fugitive here anyway."

"Let me guess, pirate?"

"Pirate King."

"Did someone say my name?" Natasha's voice sounded behind me. I whipped my head around and looked at her confused.

"I'll give you two some privacy." Smith said and walked away.

"I thought you left?" I asked her.

"I did, then I heard it was your birthday and I tried to continue on my journey but I felt guilty so I came back." she explained.

"So, what's your next move?" I asked.

"Maybe something like this." she said and moved closer to me so that her left hand was on my hip and her right hand tracing my jawline. She smiled before pulling me into a kiss. It was short and sweet but the best birthday present a girl could ask for.

And then...I woke up. In an insulation tube with no one in my view. There was a camera in the top left corner of the tube and I waved my hands back and forth to get someone's attention.

Soon after, Fury, Tony and Steve came bursting into the room.

"Okay, I'm no longer with the Sculptors." I mumbled.

"Is it her or still Doctor Poison?" Steve asked.

"I don't know let's test it," Fury said. "What's your name?" he asked me.
