It's no shock that you suffer with depression, you have since you were 12. It all started in 7th grade, you started to get bullied because people found out you had an episode like your Auntie Lizzie, they called you a freak and they beat you half to death, you told your parents that you fell down the stairs. It hasn't changed, even now in high school. What happened in grade school travelled to your high school and you still get bullied and beaten daily. Your parent still don't know about the bullying and you've managed to hide your bruises.

Your twin sister, JJ, completely ignores you at school, she's one of the popular kids, the head cheerleader actually. She takes one look at people hitting you and pretends she doesn't know you. You don't care anymore, the two of you grew apart a long time ago.

You've struggled through suicidal thoughts for the last year and the only reason you're still alive is so you don't hurt your parents.

Your parents are so great, they love you so much and they'd do anything for you, but you don't want to bother them with your problems, besides JJ takes up most of their time with her problems, they still make time for you though.

"What took you so long?" JJ asks with an eye roll as you climb into the car.

You ignore her as you put the keys into ignition. JJ never drives, she always makes you drive, even after you've been beaten.

"I asked you a question." She snaps as you pull out of the school.

"I was trying to cover the bruises your so called best friend left on my face." You retort.

"You didn't do very well. I can see a hand print on your jaw." JJ says.

"I'll just tell Moms I ran into a door." You mumble.

"Whatever." She mumbles, inspecting her nails.

You wince at the pounding in your head, you probably have a concussion from when Jasmine kicked your head earlier.

You get home fairly quickly thankfully, all you heard was JJ whining about her boyfriend the whole time.

"I'm home!" JJ calls out as the two of you walk inside.

"There are my beautiful girls." Your Mama, Hope, grins as you and JJ walk into the kitchen.

"Ugh. I had the worst day." JJ whines before going on to tell your parents all about it.

You had a bad day? Try being kicked in the head and punched because everyone thinks you're crazy. You think to yourself.

You slowly walk out of the room and head up stairs to your room.

You drop your bag on the floor and put on some music before laying on your bed, groaning against your pillow.

This is your daily routine when. Wake up. Go to school. Get thrown around like a rag doll. Go home. Listen to JJ whine. Watch her steal all your parents attention. Lock yourself in your room and blast music. Wait until either your Mom or Mama come up to check on you.

It's the same everyday and you're just so tired. The only person who really understands you is your Auntie Lizzie.

You take a couple painkillers before grabbing your diary and writing in it. Lizzie told you that it helps to write down everything you're feeling, and she's right it works for a few minutes by then you just feel empty again.

Your door opens about ten minutes later which makes you look up, closing your diary and using your magic to turn your music off.

"Hey, baby." Your Mom smiles and shuts the door, walking over to you.
