Rules for Participants
➵ You must follow the community account TheOceanicCommunity , at least until the awards are over. If you're feeling extra nice, follow the founders and award hosts as well. (If you are already following the community, please unfollow and then follow again)
➵ Add this book to your private and public reading list, please. This is so you get notified for updates and so other people can find this book.
➵ Share this book on your message board.
➵ You must follow your judges when they are announced.
➵ You can submit up to 3 books, but they all have to be in different genres and only in English. Please refer to the next chapter for the list of accepted genres.
➵ Your book must be complete or if ongoing, must have a minimum of 5 chapters to be able to submit it.
➵ The book must belong to you, and only you. If you're found plagiarizing, strict actions will be taken.
➵ After submitting your entry, you can not change the title of your book or your username until after the awards.
➵ Once your entry has been accepted, please don't ask us to remove it. That makes things more confusing.
➵ No bribing the judges, it will lead to immediate disqualification.
➵ We have the right to decline your entry at any time if the rules have not been followed.
➵ Be kind. We want this to be a fun and safe environment for everyone. We do not tolerate bullying or rudeness of any kind. The password is the name of your favourite TV show.
➵ No bullying. This kind of goes hand in hand with the 'Be Kind' rule. We don't want this to be a hostile environment. That means no discrimination of any kind will be tolerated. No racism, No hating on someone's religion, etc.

Rules For Judges

➵ You can not judge the genre(s) you're participating in.
➵ After filling the form, please don't change your username.
➵ You will have to read minimum 5 chapters of a book to judge it. If the book has less than 5 chapters but is complete, read all.
➵ Meet your deadlines. If you're unable to continue judging or need a break, please contact the award hosts BEFORE the deadline.
➵ Please join only if you can commit the time and effort. We want these awards to be successful and without your support, it will not be possible.
➵ If there is a shortage of judges, you may be asked to judge more than one genre.
➵ Don't accept bribes. If any participant approaches you, please contact one of the award hosts immediately!
