MOSETTE'S POV:
Its 1:57 right now and Im supposed to be at Elainas office at three me and Daisy are all packed but waiting for Laila to come back
"What if she got caught" Daisy asked worried because Laila is taking so long pacing back and forth
"Theres no way someone would've came and said something " I tell her
"I guess so" She said sighing sitting down
The door opens and our heads quickly turn to see who's walking though but we relax when we see its Laila
"Sorry" she said when she noticed she scared us
"Its fine did you see anything when you were out there?" I asked her
"Uh yeah theres people with suits in her office most likely there for you" she said
"dang ok is the back cleared?" I asked her
"I don't know I didn't go back there but the front is not safe so our best bet is to go to the back" she said me and Daisy nodding in agreement
"Alright lets go" I said looking at the time one last time to see it says 2:03
"Laila opens the door peaking her head out motioning us to follow once she knows it clear
"come on" she said walk down the hall towards the back with me and Daisy following her
We were halfway there when we heard Ms. Elaina walking towards us talking to someone me and Daisy quickly run into the closest room and shut the door
"Hello Laila what are you doing out here" Ms.Elaina said
"Just taking a walk Daisy and Mosette wanted to be alone for a little bit" She told Ms. Elaina
"Oh well this is mrs. Robinson, she will be taking in Mosette, I was just giving her a tour while we wait for Mosette" She said making me mad that that she really wanted to get rid of me and it wasn't something to scare me to make me act better
"Hello" Im guessing Mrs. Robinson said
"Hi" Laila said hesitantly
"Well were going to continue on with the tour I will see you later ok young lady" Ms. Elaina said walking off with Mrs. Robinson
Laila open the door and she looked bothered
"You ok?" I asked her and she just nodded her head
"we should keep going" she said walking off causing me and Daisy to follow her
LAILA'S POV:
That lady looked real familiar like I seen her before she looked like she knew me as well but I never heard the name Robinson before
I looked around the corner making sure its safe for us to head out side before I keep walking right before I can grab the door knob I hear someone yell towards us
"HEY!" we turn our heads to see that its one of the people in the suits causing us to hurry and run out side when we got out we kept running to the fence that's supposed to keep us in
We hurry and jump on the fence and start climbing it when I turned around I see a lot of people with suits running towards is while the other kids just stand and stare and some cheering us on but one face caught my attention and it was Mrs. Robinsons
From afar she looked just like Tessa and Then it clicked thats Tessas mom the same woman who would verbally abuse my best friend the woman who made best friend cry herself to sleep every night the same woman who sent her child to foster care all because no one wanted to date a single mother but now she's married and is fostering children
