ROAD RUNNERS

Part 6

UNKNOWN POV:

"GET BACK HERE" I yelled towards him as he kept running away

Ive been chasing him for like twenty minutes and I haven't been paying attention to where I was going and lost the others, he's a fast kid but has a short temper and runs away when he gets upset

But he's my little brother and I will protect him at all cost, even if I get my self hurt

DAISY'S POV:

Me, Mosette, and Laila were getting our things together ready to continue on this journey we decided that we can no longer stay here because cops are getting closer to where we are we heard sirens yesterday we don't know if they were for us or not but it's better to be safe than sorry

We finished gathering all our things and began to walk out we decided to stay in the woods put close enough to the edge to see the street so we know where we are

we were about twenty minutes into the walk when Mosette stopped

"You good Mo?" I asked her

"Shh! do you hear that?" She asked me and Laila

"Hear what?" Laila asked her

"Sounds like running" Mosette responded

We stood still for a few seconds before we heard faint foots steps at a running paste getting louder as they got closer

"Wait wait I hear it" I say

"Me too" Laila says then she begins to walk towards the direction of where the foot steps are coming from

"Wait what are you doing!" Mosette yells after her

"It's probably someone in danger" She said

"I don't care let them be in danger your just gonna put us in danger if we go after it" Mosette said but Laila ignores her and keeps going and I begin to follow her to make sure shes ok

"Not you too, this is how people die in movies" Mosette said rolling her eyes

"Well this is not a movie Mo lets go" I tell her

"Nah Im fine here" She said and sat on the ground leaning on a tree

I just roll my eyes and kept following Laila

LAILA'S POV:

I turn around to see Daisy following me but I don't see Mosette

"She stayed" Daisy said when she seen me look back

"Scaredy cat" I say laughing but quickly stop when I hear foots steps close to us causing Daisy to stop walking

"Hey who's out here!" Daisy said out loud causing me to turn around to hit her shoulder

"Quite you can scare them off" I said but when I turn around I see a small brunette boy standing in front of me with a knife

"Uh oh" I say

"Your not going to scare me off" He said pointing the knife at me

Daisy just walks up to him and grabs the knife and points it at him

"If you ever point this thing at her again I will cut all your fingers off" She tells the small boy causing him to gasp and make his eyes go wide

"No you wont" We heard a deeper voice say

All three of us look up to see a boy with black hair and a tattoo on his neck staring at us leaning against a tree
