Chapter 63

"Theres my happy boy." I said walking into Dante's room and seeing him standing in his crib smiling
"Its past your bed time little man." I said picking him up and cuddling into him
"He doesn't like to sleep when you are home." Luca said in the doorway
"He is always asleep when I get home." I laughed quietly as I felt his body relax
"Whiskey." He shrugged walking away as I rolled my eyes
"Crazy man." I whispered and kissed his head before putting him back down as I watched him curl up and start closing his eyes

"Carrie I had no idea. I was kept in the dark on that warrant." JJ said standing off the couch when she saw me
"JJ I believe you." I sighed making myself a whiskey sour
"Do you want anything?" I asked nodding to the bar cart I was standing at
"Vodka soda please." She said sitting back down
"You know you should be lucky you are my sister. Others on our payroll would have been killed for leaving out that important information." I said making her drink
"Carrie dont open threat me." She said as I passed her the drink
"Its not an open threat its a warning." I smirked taking a sip
"I hate this you." She said taking a sip
"Im sorry. Am I not farm girl enough anymore?" I laughed getting her to laugh
"Just dont be a bitch to me. Im trying my hardest." She sighed as we relaxed back
"I know. There is a new problem coming out of New York. There is a group of men who have been going to different clubs like mine and slipping drugs into girls drinks." I said hoping she could offer some help
"How do you know?" She asked
"I caught this red head on her way to kill them in my club tonight. Andy took the other guys down to the basement for questioning." I laughed
"What are you going to do with her?" She asked
"Im going to hire her as a bartender. She has a child. I thought I should spare her, she seems to possibly be useful." I laughed
"Are you going to give her an out?" Luca asked joining us
"Yes. Just like Andy. They can quit whenever but with what I pay, I dont see that happening." I said hearing my phone go off
"Andy?" I asked surprised
"The guys talked. They are apart of some new underground gang. I dont know their affiliation but I dont like how it sounds. I think Luca needs to take control." He said
"Alright Andy. We will handle it tomorrow. Thank you." I said hanging up
"Andy doesnt like how these guys sound. Luca you are taking over and handling this. I want to say the Russians are back in some way." I said as he nodded
"I wont say a thing. Take care of it how you usually do. Dont leave crumbs." JJ warned us
"We wont. Come with me to the interview with her tomorrow. Maybe you can help get some details out of her incase your team picks up the case. Who knows if they have murdered any of them." I shrugged and she nodded

The next morning I woke up with a killer headache.
"Fuck." I groaned reaching over for Luca realizing he wasnt there
Slowly I got out of bed and put clothes on to go down stairs.
"You look like shit." Luca said with a smile and a cup of coffee for me as I saw JJ with her head down on the counter
"Whats your problem?" I asked sitting down next to her
"You are. I am a mother of two and in my thirties. I cant hang with you twenty year olds anymore." She groaned looking at me in sunglasses
"It was only one bottle of vodka." I laughed
"One bottle of tequila and four bottles of wine." Luca laughed putting breakfast in front of us
"Why arent you hungover?" I asked him
"I left the minute you two put on the Jonas Brothers. Someone had to be the responsible parent for Dante." He laughed loudly
"Stop laughing." JJ groaned picking up her fork to eat
"Where is he anyway?" I asked taking a sip of coffee
"Momma has him. She wanted a day with him." He smiled as I nodded and left us alone
"Im not eating. Be ready in an hour." I sighed leaving JJ as she nodded

"Whats her name?" I asked Andy walking into the club seeing him working on his computer with a file
"Chloe Marshal. Daughter is four. She was going to NYU before dropping out for teaching." He said as I reviewed the file
"I still cant believe you run this place?" JJ said looking around
"Well I do. Its one of my greatest achievements." I said giving her the file before hearing the front door open and everyone got ready incase it was not Chloe
"Good morning Chloe. Would you like some coffee?" I asked seeing it was her and everyone relaxed
"I am so sorry I am late. I couldnt find a baby sitter." She said holding her daughter
"This isnt going to he a problem when you work right?" Andy asked knowing it potentially could be
"No it wont. My room mate never came home last night." She said a little panicked
"What do you mean?" JJ asked concerned
"Shes a dancer at a bar and she is usually home by three AM but she wasnt." Chloe said hesitantly
"Is that where you were drugged?" I asked as she nodded
"I use to work there until it all happened and I quit. Please let me work here I need to money." She begged
"What is the bar called?" JJ asked
"Sals. Its a dive bar but it paid me enough to survive." She answered and JJ took note of it
"Well you are hired. I will see you on Saturday. Dont be late and get someone to watch your daughter. You will shadow Josh for the time being." I smiled as she smiled and left
"I think I need to call an old friend." I said to Andy who looked confused
"You havent met her yet. She was the first one I made when I became apart of this family. Really the only one I trust outside of the family." I said looking down at my phone scrolling for her name and texting her to meet me at the club
"What does she do?" He asked sitting down across from me
"My dirty work." I smiled
"Please dont not contact her beautiful. She is just too much to handle." Luca said walking in and kissing my forehead sitting down next to me
"Who is she?" JJ asked taking a sip of coffee
"The one and only Yelena Belova." I smiled as Luca and Josh said shit under their breaths
"I swear if she breaks my bar again she will be put on the not allowed entry list." Josh yelled over to me as he polished glasses

I am so sorry I took a little hiatus. Life kindof got busy but I am determined to finish this story. I have recently honestly fell in love with Black Widow and how perfect would it be to bring in Yelena to cause some problems or the help out the DeRosa family. Once I finish this book I am thinking of doing one that is NOT CM related and try a Marvel one about Yelena and Natasha. Let me know what you think!
