JJs POV
"Hey Kat have you seen Carrie?" I asked as we both were looking at baby clothes
"No. She said she would meet us over here after she picked out a crib." She said shrugging as if she hadnt picked one out yet
"Paul?" She asked seeing him run into the department
"Dobbiamo andare ora. È pericoloso. Dove si trova Carrie?" He said in Italian (We have to go now. It's dangerous. Where is Carrie?)
"What about Carrie?" I asked know thats all I got
"Where is she? Shes needed at the club." He said as Kat walked out with three different men
"She was looking at cribs and said she would meet us here. She hasnt come over yet." I said
"Merda. È troppo tardi. Where is your mom? We need to go back to the house now." He said pulling me towards the cribs (Shit. It's too late. )
"Shes right there calm down." I said as she held up a broken phone
"This is Carries." She said looking at the case
"I need to get you two out of here." He said guiding us out to the door that Kat left from before gun fire started
"Im not armed." I said patting my hip
"They are shooting at us for a reason. Do not fight back. Get in the car now." He said as a blacked out SUV pulled up and we got in
"Casa adesso." He said as the driver stepped on it
"Will you explain what just happened?" I asked as we sped through traffic
"I cant. Luca and the family have to decide that and because Carrie is not currently present they have to let her have a vote before they tell you." He said as I went to respond and mom stopped me

"I want all of their fucking heads." Luca yelled at a few of the bouncers from Carries club
"Yes sir." They said in unison before leaving
"I want my wife and child brought back safely now." He yelled at Paul before seeing us behind him
"Carrie is missing?" Mom asked before getting emotional
"No she was taken." I said before Luca stormed off and I followed him to his office

"Did you contact anyone?" I asked slamming the door behind me as he placed two glasses on his desk and unscrewed a bottle of whiskey
"I cant." He said pouring it and giving me a glass
"Why not?" I asked pushing for him to tell me
"Its a family matter. You and your mom will go back home and go on living your lives. I will let you know when Carrie is back home safe." He said before finishing his drink
"I want to know why my sister was taken now Luca." I demanded
"You really want to know?" He asked and I nodded
"Because...." He started to say but we got interrupted by his family
"I think we will take you up on that offer." I said walking out to find out mom

"Did you get anything?" She asked seeing me
"No but I will find her myself and get her away from this family." I promised to her and me
"I wouldnt do that. Getting feds involved will make it worse on her." Marco said over hearing me as a loud crash came from Luca's office
"I think I should be getting you to the airport the plane is being gassed up now." He said as we nodded and went to pack

Carrie POV
"Care wake up." Austin said over and over again until I opened my eyes
"Where are we?" I asked as he got out and opened the car door
"A safe house for now." He said before using his phone as a flash light to guide us to this house
"Austin Im pregnant. Please dont hurt us." I begged as we walked up
"I promise I wont. Ive been put in charge of watching you. I promise I wont let anything happen to you anymore. You will be back with Luca soon enough." He said before opening the door
"Carrie Derosa. So nice to finally join us. This cabin isnt as fancy as any thing Italian. Us Russians like to keep things simple. Right my nephew." The man said when we walked in
"Right uncle." Austin said bowing his head down
"Take her to her room. I have business to tale care of. I will come back when it is safe to move her again." He said leaving us alone
"Why?" I asked him as my eyes filled up
"Im the next of kin. My dad never wanted me to be apart of this life but my uncle saw me as the next head of the mob." He said sighing and sitting down
"Carrie I promise I wont hurt you. I want you to be safe thats why I volunteered to be the one who looks after you. I know I hurt you in the pass but I just want to take over this and change it. Make it better and run things how Luca does. Stop selling women and do something else maybe partner up with your family and run guns together." He said as I sat next to him
"I need you to get me my prenatals." I sighed just wanting this to be over
"I will. I have my girlfriend shopping for clothes for you that are more comfortable then what you are wearing." He laughed
"Whats wrong with what Im wearing?" I asked confused
"Carrie you are wearing heels. And almost two months pregnant." He laughed
"Fine. So you are dating again?" I asked and he nodded
"After all this is over Im planning on proposing to her." He smiled
"Austin Im sorry." As he looked at me confused
"No I am. I hit you and almost raped you. In the one who is sorry. She knows about my past with you and I have never laid a finger on her and never plan on it. I learned my lesson when I lost you." He said making me tear up
"Im back. I also got prenatals for her." A familiar voice said walking in
"Dr. Anderson?" I asked confused seeing her
"Carrie?" She asked right back
"You two know each other?" Austin asked confused
"Ya. Shes my new OBGYN." I said still in shock
