Massimo

I couldn't have imagined this night going better. Everything just felt so right. I know for a fact that Arabella and I will be good together. She's just perfect.

"I'm not waiting longer than a week to marry you," I said.

"What?" She pulled away from my embrace and looked up at me. "Massimo, what are you talking about? We can't get married in a week," she said in astonishment.

"Yes we can cara. The accident just prove to me how quickly things could change. I'm not waiting any longer. I want my ring on your finger permanently and I want you to be my wife," I said.

She gave me a teary smile. "I can't believe I'm saying this, but I can't wait to marry you either. And a week's sounds great. I don't want a big wedding. Just family and friends," she said.

"Whatever you want babe," I said.

"I was thinking, if it's alright with you, I'd like to get married where you're from. Id like to get married in Sicily. I mean, if it's not too much trouble... I just thought it would be the perfect place. It holds so much history and memories for the both of us. But if it's not what you want, then it's okay, I mean..."She started babbling nervously, and I silenced her in the only way I know how. I kissed her tenderly on her lips.

"I did it again. I'm babbling like an idiot," she said sheepishly.

I laughed.

"I'd marry you anywhere you want. But you're right, I think it's the perfect place for us to marry," I said, kissing her once again.

Arabella

I feel like I'm floating. I didn't expect Massimo to propose to me again tonight. I mean, after he proposed at the hospital, we didn't really talk about any wedding details. We both decided to wait until he fully recovers before we talk about it. Then he surprises me, by bringing me to the most beautiful place I have ever been, and proposing to me. Words can't express the happiness I feel.

He still hasn't said he loved me, but I really do feel that he does. He may not have said the words, but the words he did say, washed through me, and made me feel loved. I know I can't wait until he's ready to say the words to me, and just like they say, action speaks louder than words. I'm much too happy to dwell on those three words. I know that he cares about me, and it's enough... for now...

The next few days passed in a blur. Massimo flew us all to Sicily the next day after he proposed to me. Getting everybody up to date about the wedding wasn't so hard, since I didn't really have a lot of people to invite to the wedding. I only had Evelyn and her family, as well as Al and her husband Eric.

Massimo's mom was elated when she found out that we were getting married in a week and that the wedding was to be held at the house where Massimo grew up. She was so happy. I told her that if a week was such short notice, then I wouldn't mind waiting a bit longer, but She and Massimo wouldn't hear it. They both insisted that a week was plenty of time to get married.

The wedding gown wasn't a problem as well, since I knew a long time ago that I wanted to wear my mom's wedding dress when I marry. Of course we had to make a few adjustments with the dress, but nothing a good alteration couldn't fix.

I'm so thankful to have Evelyn, Al, Ellie and Zarah, and Massimo's mom to help me. I couldn't have done this all by myself. I still can't believe we were able to accomplish so much in just 5 days.

Tomorrow, I will be marrying the man I love.

"Mommy, mommy." I turn to find Lia running towards me. "Look, look. Look at my dwess mommy!" She said excitedly.
