Everybody was dead.

Everybody was dead?

All of the x-men, all dead.

I couldn't believe it. The team I was once apart off, defeated by some terrible man-made creature like it was nothing.

It wasn't Logan's fault.

No, it really wasn't.

He was given an impossible task to do.

I wanted to go, it should have been me.

I told professor X that I could use Logan's abilities and survive. But all he said was: 'Diana, you're just a child.'

I wanted to protest, yell in his face that I was almost the same age as Professor X, not a child, but I didn't.

Logan went but he was too late.

Right after he left, they appeared.

We didn't know that they would be early.

We were all attacked and murdered.

I only survived because of my abilities.

The ability to mirror someone and use their abilities. Even when I am not around that person, I can still use their abilities but only for a short period of time.

I used Blink's ability of portal teleportation. But I ended up somewhere I definitely didn't want to go to.

I felt tears dripping into my suit. Very uncomfortable.

The moist of the grass tickling my knees.

The cold wind was slowly brushing against my skin, I got shivers down my spine.

I heard faint footsteps behind me. I didn't even bother to turn around to see who it was.

My head was just full of sorrows and ideas on how to get everyone back, ignoring the fact that they are all dead. Stone cold dead.

'Hey kid, you really shouldn't be sitting here in the grass.' I heard a friendly voice said.
